Every sunday i have to go to church, this is so eversince.
I usd to talk to Jesus and sometimes to God before i sleep, but last year i am doing this less and less because I am beginning to ask myself questions , the most important is that I dont undestand why God let his son get killed just because for carrying our sins. If god can make a Universe and all th things in it , then why cant he just forgive my sins without letting his only son get killed ? I dont understand that

Let go of the god and jesus mentality for awhile and just live your life according to your OWN morals and beliefs about life. Do not restrict yourself to a doctrine based on a book written by man, a belief system that is the biggest business in the world, and it's something you have NO proof of, so why beat yourself up?
Find out who YOU are as a person and don't worry about religion. At least for awhile, then you should know a bit more where you stand.

Excellent question. Absolutely the most honest question I have read regarding Christianity since I have been involved in this forum.

The simple answer is for you to go back to the place where you lost your belief in God and Jesus. To paraphrase a verse out of the Old Testament you must go ". . . back to the old landmarks."

Your question about why God couldn't just forgive your sins without letting his only son get killed is the eternal question that has concerned true thinkers since Jesus hung on the cross.

Please, do not be afraid to ask these questions you have. Boldly proclaim that you have serious doubts. Understand that you do not share a common mind but exhibit an uncommon desire for true knowledge.

You are on the right path.

Go back to the old landmarks.

God didn't passively sit back and let His Son get killed. Jesus said in John 10 that He was voluntarily laying down His life for us. And John 3:16 says that God sent His Son because of His love for us. We can't understand His love, because it totally doesn't make sense, but it's ours for the taking. Don't beat yourself up over this, but just ask the Lord to help you see His love for you.

As for getting back your belief, go back to the last time you knew for sure that the Lord was right there with you, and then follow that point to the present moment. The Lord promised us in Hebrews 13 that He would never leave us nor forsake us--and since He never changes and is always faithful to us, what was true about Him then is still true now.

Drop me a line at chad@jesusfreak.com if you'd like to talk. I'm praying for you.

Explain how the atonement works. In a moral world how can you do something immoral and have someone else pay for it? It's not a debt that can be payed by someone else. If your best friend was a child molester, and you stepped up and offered to take the rap for him. How does that make him any less guilty? A biblical God may be able to forgive him, nothing can erase the guilt. How does Jesus dieing on the cross make your child molesting friend any less guilty? Your Bible thumping priests will tell you GOD CAN DO ANYTHING. When they do, ask them WHY WOULD HE?. Then ask, if you can help him count the money in the collection plate. I think he will ask you to leave, you'll be better off for it.

He wanted to create the greatest sacrifice for you. He just wanted people to understand that He is there and will not forsake them. Through it all He wanted to give us His undying love and truest compassion. People don't recognize how great love is in their normal everyday relationships because they are usually selfish. God wanted to show you that He loves you for who you are no matter what you do. Why question such a beautiful sacrifice that cleanses away the blemishes, when most really need it? God really knows what is best for us, why don't you try helping out others, maybe then you'll feel better and understand what He intends for your life. Doesn't He need you just as much as you need Him?

Without sheding of the blood, there is no forgivness of sin, read the Bible. IT WAS GOD's CHOICE, CAUSE HE LOVES U and ME!!!
and if u want your sins to be forgiven, the MAIN thing, u need to ASK to forgive. Do u ask your mam or dad or friend to forgive u when you know you r wrong?!?!? OFCOURSE!!!! Don't think 2 much why He sent Him to die 4 u, JUST except it, except FORGIVNESS, CAUSE it's one of the main steps on the way to OUR HOME. PRAY EVERYDAY, READ your BIBLE, cause it's like the NUK in your hands, the BEST Weapon, that can protect your Suol, Mind, Spirit, LIFE.
I live in Russia and I got saved 14 years ago and U know what I'm happy, that God my Father, my Dad is on my side.
Blessings.

Because He is a just God and needed justice to be served. Gods law states that only blood can forgive sins so He sent His Son to shed His blood. With out the blood it would be impossible for God to forgive sin and still remain just and good.

You are looking for a more logic and reason. Jesus died not for our sins, but to show us that there is nothing to fear in suffering and death. He showed us the extreme of this.

Jesus came to instill the 2nd part of God's word. As we continue to evolve this word is brought forward to our increased understanding as we evolve, but always meets resistance, as we must evolve ourselves to understand. The 3rd part was delievered by the Spirit of Truth in the 1860's. This part explained God's logic and reason throughout creation, bringing science and religion into the same fold.

You should try reading the following book and make your own decision from a logical view point.

God "let" Jesus die so that the billions and billions of people who came after Him could have redemption. Would your parents let you do ANY thing you want and then clean up the mess afterwards? Then why should God(especially when the devil is just waiting for an excuse to take one of us under with him)? Jesus chose to die for us... don't get it twisted and think that God just "let" Him die.

God is removing the veil of ignorance that the Anti-christ put on you. It is Saul. God planned to make mankind wait thousands of years to find out who preached against Jesus because the devil has been in charge as it is written in Rvelation. Jesus by his teachings freed us from our sins, not by his death, he died because he had to go to hell and free those who had not lost their love of God, that was the rapture. What happens next is that Jesus returns. Saul AKA Paul is the one who fooled everyone. So now you can pray to God the only Father in Jesus' name and be welcomed back into the fold.
