God said about the 10 commandments to bind them on our foreheads and our hands. Do you think it has something to do with the mark of the beast in revelations? Is the "mark" not a way of livving, as we all know satan is a copy cat.

i just lost a friend who is born again christian and she won't tell me why she ended the relationship. i told her that i don't like it when people tell me what to believe or think and that i need to be respected for my individuality (but also expressed my love for her too). we have known each other for over 20 years and she is like family. i thought we could talk openly with each other and i don't understand this reaction.
is there some born again christian code that you can't be friends with non-christians unless they convert?
just trying to figure it out.

somebody has discovered such Law of cause and effect and so now we are not free. Our lives and mere struggling with such Law of cause and effect. Therefore we are not free at all!

as long as we live in the world where everything counts we cannot have perfect freedom. I am sad that I have to have sex, I have to work, I have to accept heat and cold, I have to bring food and pay the bills and I have to be carefull when driving.
All my life I have to bear such Law of action and reaction. I am not happy that I live in such world!

many of us always say: "The working of the Law of cause and effect is inevitable and people we do not like will have to accept the results of their deeds." However, we also are bouned by such Law and we have also to bear the results of our deeds.
So, because of such Law of cause and effect, we all live in misery. We are all captured by such unfriendly Law that never forgives, never make any mistake and never helps weak people.
Such Law us cruel. I do not want to believe in Law that rules with everything in life. I want to believe in complete freedom even from the Law of cause and effect. I want to live in the world of happiness where our bodies and not an obstacle and our deeds are not our enemies.

Please understand i'm very proud of my daughter & how she strongly believes. But i'm confused about how to help her understand why maybe she should wait for such a serious event b/c she's too young to understand the reason for it & the commitment she's too young to know anything about that comes with baptism. Help! I don't think she's at the right age. Am I wrong?

It is a religion which,
throughout its 1,400-year history, has lent itself well to fanaticism, terrorism, mass
murder, oppression and conversion by the sword. Long before the age of political
correctness and multicultural indoctrination, Winston Churchill, that keen observer,
described Islam as, "that religion which above all others, was founded and propagated by
the sword – the tenets and principles of which are … incentives to slaughter and which in
three continents had produced fighting breeds of men (and) stimulates a wild and
merciless fanaticism."
It's so obvious that it hardly bears repetition. You don't have Orthodox rabbis
hijacking airplanes in response to Jews for Jesus. Jesuits don't shoot up Baptist
seminaries to protest the Reformation. Members of the Church of Latter Day Saints don't
tell you they'll cut your throat if you don't accept the prophetship of Joseph Smith and
the authenticity of the Book of Mormon. Buddhists don't put out contracts on those who
offend them. Hindus don't call members of other religions, dogs, pigs and the sons of
apes.

i live in a muslim community, my family is muslim though not religious, im an atheist,i don't pray or practice religion as my family doesn't force me but they are still not so open minded as to accept the idea of my atheism..so i just kept it to myself.
now i will move to live and study in a european country, which is like a huge opportunity for me to be the person i truly am (as an open minded free spirit atheist) but the problem is..that i will leave in this octobre which happens to be Ramadan in the islamic calender (the month muslims fast in from sunrise to sunset) i've never ever fasted in my whole life or been a good muslim and i wasnt planning on fasting, until one of the muslim friends from my nationality called me yesterday to gather with other students and decide where to eat at sunset .
it seems that she wants us to fast and eat together and maybe even pray together.. and i dont want to pretend..something that im not anymore and if i don't go to eat with them,
