How can these man stand up in front of people in church and talk about sin when they are doing the one thing that God hates, they should know the Bible

You're right. I've been thinking lately about this. As a gay man, I've tried in the past to be straight. But it won;t work Prayer and bibles and a real desire to do it- all fail. So i'm gay. I can't help thoughts of sex any more than a straight man can. So Jesus says the thought of the sin is justa s bad as the sin. So I guess I'm going to hell. Which means I have a free ticket to be a total A hole. I mean, I'm already going to hell right?? I might as well disgrace the church and become a minister. I might as well be mean to everyone. Commit crimes. Shout obscenities and blasphemies everywhere I go. Hey, I could worhsip satan! I mean, all of these things are horrible but obviously not worse than being gay. because chrsitians NEVER talk about them All i ever hear about it don;t be gay don't be gay. So that's like the worst thing you can do!!! So i might as well do everything else that's bad seeing as I'm already going to hell. Thank you, Christian people, for my license to be evil with no ADDITONAL repricussions. seeing as being gay is, like you say, the ONE thing that god hates, i'm already on his **** list.
ugh. ok i have to makes ure i state that that was sarcastic. homophobes tend to display evidence of unintelligence all across the board so let me make it clear to you that that was a completely sarcastic answer meant to point out that homosexuality is serving as a distraction from real sin- that which hurts other people. why aren't you worried about preists who rape women? preists who steal from their congregation? oh, it's because,as you say, god ONLY hates homos. murderers and stuff are like his homeboys...according to you.

If a priest is gay, it does not mean that he is in a physical gay relationship. If he is straight, does this mean that he is automatically in a relationship with a woman?
Many of the critics of priests who have betrayed their vows seem to imply that all priests behave this way which is very unfair and totally irrational.
These people don't seem to make much noise when married men or women break their vows by having affairs. Face facts - most clergy are decent people who face the same temptations as the rest of us. Give them a break!

Homosexual actions are no bigger a sin in God's eyes than any other sin, even the ones we commit only in thought. You don't have to be 'straight' to recieve god's grace. Whilst I can see that God made us male and female for a reason, it's not going to help if we judge those who struggle. Just keep praying that God will show them the truth, and protect those to whom they are preaching. Remember they will be judged by God on the Day, for the things they teach.

The trouble is that people accept it. OK, if you don't believe the bible, then there's no case to answer but if you DO believe that the bible is the divine word of god (as I assume priests do), then bring back the inquisition! These people seem to be blissfully unaware that they are responsible for corrupting a huge proportion of the so-called religious world with their perversion.

I don't know of any Priest who is not a sinner or a hypocrite in one way or another.
I've lied before. Does this mean I can't teach my kids to tell the truth? I've driven recklessly, too. Am I not allowed to drive in a safe manner ever again in order to not be a hypocrite?

Such people were never really redeemed or spiritually reborn in the first place. They simply pick out bits they like, root out the rest, then plug in complete reinterpretations and blatantly foreign stuff of their own creation. Whether or not they know the Bible, they disregard it as needed because they are more interested in following after a rebellious lifestyle than seeking relationship with a holy God.

Here we go again !!!! I thought that according to all the religious merchants that the so-called God made everything, so if he's so perfect, how come he (according to your way of thinking) made such a gigantic balls-up here?
I'm glad that the people who wrote all this rubbish to start with are long since dead, because if I thought they were still about I'd be out there looking for them, just to have a quiet word or three with them............................

it isn't the one thing that God hates, He hates all sin. Homosexuality is a sexual sin which is equal to any other sin. the problem i have with it is that if it is seen as part of them and or unnecessary of repentance. they openly close themselves from God working in that area of their life. if a vicar or priest was having sex outside of marriage openly and with the position that it was unnecessary of repentance, i wouldn't want them to keep their authority either.
however i don't think that just because someone has sex (with the same sex or the opposite) they are going to hell. it's about weather or not they truly seek God.
