The greatest reason for wanting to go to Heaven is to see my most beloved. I want to be with my love forever and ever. The One I love from all my heart, all my soul all my strength and all my mind. My love to Him is eternal because of His eternal love to me; He died on the cross and carried all my sins with him nailing them on the cross, and wiped my tears with His tender hand and cleansed me with his own precious blood; He healed me from all my sickness all my decease and made me so healthy and a perfect man in the sight of God. Not only that, but He also crowned me His nature and so I became like Him a Son of the most High after He had resurrected from death and made me wholly and a righteous man worthy to worship God, and because of His work on the cross, God accepted me to be standing before His holy alter in His holy presence because of the wonders and the splendor of his so precious, so valuable blood that was shed on account of my sins. How much do I love my lover, my sweet My savior and my most blessed! I am for my Love, and my Lover is for me.

I want to get to Heaven because God promised that it would be good. I think about the here and now more than I think about Heaven though because I believe that when Jesus came, He brought Heaven to earth.

For GOD "SO" Loved the world [me] that whosoever [you] should "BE-LIVE" in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" "IF" you love me keep my commandments" The reason you do what ever God says MUST BE LOVE, if it isn't you are waisting your time, we do what we do for God BECAUSE we are saved NOT in order to be. To be with Jesus is the reason to go to Heaven, but the kingdom of God does not come with your carefull looking, the kindgom of God Jesus says is within you, God wants to come and live IN YOU, Yes there is A point when Jesus will return but He will return for those who are ready, God at that point will be living in you or you will be lost forever. I think because it is definitely preferable to the alternative.
Also I would like to get the answers on why bad things happened etc, and live in a place where one doesn't cry and grieve and hopefully continues to learn in an atmosphere of love.

people want to get to heaven because of the preconcieved notion abt heaven tht we hear everywhere...abt the rivers of milk and never ending supplies of food...compared to what the religious books have to say abt hell wudnt u rather go to heaven too???

no it's because i wanted peace. there's no peace in this world hehee. but if we have peace here then i don't care about heaven hehe.
