OK, heard of this?

Exodus 20:4-6 records the Second Commandment. Here is God’s explicit directive: “YOU SHALL NOT MAKE UNTO YOU ANY GRAVEN IMAGE, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.”

God specifically defined the forbidden ways that were used to worship idols. He realized human nature’s tendency to justify loopholes around His instructions

Initially there were pictures and paintings of muhammed-pbuh but when Allah ordered muhammed-pbuh, since then paintings, idols and any image is forbidden in Islam. actually when an artist tries capturing the human or any life form in art, and presents it for the whole world to see, then we appreciate the image, rather than the true beauty of God the painting or sculpture was inspired from.

prophet Mohamed was against idol worship that was why drawing his pictures was forbidden. other wise like other religions, Muslims would worship the idols of prophet Mohamed.though lord Buddha was against idol worship, his followers made his idols, and made paintings depicting him thus defeated the very purpose of his saying not to worship idols.

u have 2 tell me??? no we actually dont HAVE to do any thing!!
if we do it we do it because we want to.

we dont draw pictures of prophet Muhammed so people wont end up worshipping pictures and Idols!!
look what happened in Christianity when people drew pictures of jesus or made idols of Mary!!

the Cartoons Fiasco wasnt because they drew pictures, it was because they drew insulting pictures.

Muslims don't protest mass-murder in the name of Islam, but if you draw a picture of their goofy prophet they get all pissedoff. Then they want to kill jews.
