Jesus said the two most important commandments are love God, and treat others as you'd want to be treated. This includes not bashing gays...literally or verbally. How can people justify treating anyone disrespectfully. Please make me understand!

Some people are telling that:
(1) Muslims(no distinction--very generally termed) are terrorists.
(2)They want to conqure the world
(3) They want to change the so-called democracies.
(4) They call others non-believers
(5) They blackmail the West with their oil.
Oh Yea!! So you know what 1.5 billion people collectively wants??? They want to conquere the world?? They want to blackmail you with their oil?
Ok, If really the mindset of 1.5 billion people were to conqure the world--you atleast couldn't sleep in peace!! You filthy Westerners have colonized and sucked the wealth of 95% of the world and still you are. So, somehow you have to pay back. And if really the Muslims used their oil to efficiently blackmail you--your economy would collapse. The West is still far away to use alternative fuels. Infact it's the oil-greed of filthy Westerners--that created havoc in Middle-East. Yes, we call non-muslims non-believers--should we call them "Muslims"???
Muslims are not commanded to kill anyone without cause.
But if there is a single sufficient cause--they must do it.
Western countries are not democracy--they are rules of mobs. It's by their people,of their people and for their people. They don't care a zot for other people in the third world countries except--their selfish agenda. You will not win. You will lose. It's coming slowly but steadily. You are a morally bankrupt people. Roman empire was fallen but
the culture and people survived in some degree. You will be completey ANNIHILATED.

To me, the bible is much more clear on divorce and premarital sex. Why don't we fight against those? Aren't those much more corrosive to the state of marriage? If you argue that they aren't, then how can you argue against gay marriage?

It seems to me (and the bible and Jesus seem to agree) that divorce and premarital relations are much more important issues. Do Christians avoid these issues because they are afraid of driving away people? Is that anyway to run a religion? Is it a popularity contest where we ignore what Jesus wanted and pound on a weak underclass in order to gain parishoners? Is it worth it if we loose sight of the mission?

Why don't we focus more on what Jesus actually said as opposed to the cause celebre of our "religious" leaders?

A PRIEST has died after trying to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water. Evangelist preacher Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle. But he drowned after walking out to sea from a beach in the capital Libreville in Gabon, west Africa. One eyewitness said: "He told churchgoers he'd had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus. My grandpa is going to die and i don't think he believes in God. I'm scaried that he won't go to heaven. Its hard to get through to him because he refuses to listen to any thing religious. How can i tell my grandpa about Him and make him believe? do you have any good bible verses?

Do you think I will get shot or something in compresion of murder?
Are Christ-ians really that evil that if I prove the bible is a man made lie they will attempt to kill me?
Do you think they can except a book that proves to them the bible is false?
What more, will they even pick it up?

The proof is in the bible for those of you that are inquistive.
It's not based upon anythingother then what's wrong with bible compared to the truth of reality.

How do you know that? I know the answer will be: It says so in the Bible or you read it in the Bible.
Well you don't really know that because you don't really know who wrote the books of the Bible and even if they were sane, real people. You never knew them so how can you say that "You Know" God was always there or infinite or what ever?
And this time I'm not even going to put the statement about the "faith" thing, you all just go ahead and say it if you want but I am really looking for you to answer this question with some thinking on your part. Common sense says you don't know really but you want to just Believe it? Is this right or wrong?

what are they called ewtn or tbn or cbn or something? why are they so stereotypical with the catholic channel having a bunch of nuns and priests talking in monotones and the christian channels with a bunch of televangelists jumping around and their wives with huge hair and a face buried in makeup? is it budget or what? why wouldn't they want to have more interesting programming? you know, so they can actually spread the word to an audience.

The Vatican has issued a statement excommunicating the doctors and nurses involved in terminating the pregnancy of a an 11 year old girl who was raped by her stepfather. This was in Columbia where the rules on abortion are already very strict, only in cases of rape, deformity or danger to the health of the mother and it was carried out legally.

I think the Pope and the Catholic church are both unhinged if they truly believe this was 'an abominable crime' as they call it - and no word of condemnation for the stepfather; there was me thinking raping an eleven year old child was far more of an abominable offence. Carrying that pregnancy to term would have messed that child up for life.

Do you agree with what the vatican said, or would you have allowed the abortion to go ahead unchallenged?
