Jesus said the two most important commandments are love God, and treat others as you'd want to be treated. This includes not bashing gays...literally or verbally. How can people justify treating anyone disrespectfully. Please make me understand!

It is never right to bash anyone, but it does state in the Bible that it's a sin to be homosexual. You can find the scripture in
1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9 .. it states:

Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,..... there are other scriptures a well that confirm homosexuality is in fact a sin.

Christ never said to bash anyone. he did say that marriage was a sacred union between a man and a woman.
Christ said we should love each other, he did not mean in the physical sense. We should show compassion for everyone, even those who choose an alternate lifestyle, and set a loving example for them.

Christ Jesus came to preach to the Jews, his own people, about the coming of the Kingdom of God, that it was drawing near. The Jews already had the laws by which they lived and they already knew homosexuality was sinful, punishable by death. The message would be preached later to the gentiles by his apostles, the gentiles of some who were into homosexuality, would convey the message that homosexuality was forbidden by God as a sin deserving of death. That is why we find that message in the book of Romans, written by Paul who was sent to the gentiles by Jesus.

He did say something about it....he said I came not abolish the laws of moses but to fulfill them. You do remember Sodom & Gommorah don't you? Or do you selectively read passages and make up what you want as you go along. Nobody has a right to condemn the gay lifestyle, however if you are a homosexual you will be judged before God and have to explain yourself to him. That I think is more important than what joe shmo on the side of the road thinks.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Imagine two men who embrace, who exchange a kiss on greeting, who talk of loving each other and being willing to die for each other. That's what Jesus taught: love, love between men and men, between women and men, and between "God" and humankind. He didn't talk about sex and would not have approved of promiscuity, obviously, but love, yes, he blessed that.

Homosexuality is not allowed in chrisitniaty, this is true. but you are right that as far as the religion goes, this is just a minor part.

It is however somthing that is highly visible and typically flaunted noawadays. this makes people mad.

the stinking trash they send over the net will be enough for them to burn in hell until there ashes. Jesus said that it would be better for Sodom and Goneria than what it will be that was living at his time period; Jesus didn't change any of the Laws of G-D

"he did"

Really, Karen? Can you quote a verse or are you just making stuff up?

Shouldn't putting words into God's mouth be a sin?

"Would you want to kiss a man who's had his mouth on.......never mind."

Why not, I kiss women who do.
