I'd be up for it. Just think... me, having a real-time conversation with the great jim_darwin. That would be so cool.

I am not sure that I am a "real regular" but I would enjoy banter between mature adults without the trolls.
I guess the success of such a group would depend on the participants.

They already have such groups; theyre called Spiritualists and New agers.

Most atheists though are reductionists; they believe we are only mind and body, no spirit. The existence of the spirit world then strongly indicate the presence of a god.

You'd have a real-time arguments and insults, mudslinging, etc.

You might find a few converts. Likewise, we may make one of you as well, if given a chance to have dialog back and forth, rather than bits and pieces as we have on this forum. But, this would be few and far between.

It would get overwhelmed and trashed by fundies. Remember... they outnumber us over 7 - to - 1.

However, you can find plenty of opportunities for that sort of stuff at:

Sounds good to me.

OH....well, I guess that's assuming you consider me a "real regular"....

What would happen? Religious types would rejoyce b/c we wouldn't be spending as much time here in Y!A =)
