Since a lot of protestants seem to like guessing about people, based on their own biblical interpuations, and all this left behind stuff. WHO DO YOU THINK THE ANTI-CHRIST WILL BE?

I was baptized a catholic, but have not practiced any sort of faith or attended church in about 20 years (I'm 28). I just have too many questions that I have not received acceptable answers to. First, christianity seems to be very anti-gay. I personally am not gay, but have several friends who are and they are all great people who lead a good productive life. How is it that someone who murders, rapes, or molests children can be accepted into heaven so long as they accept Christ as their savior and repent, and yet a gay person who has never harmed another person and led a good life can't get in only because they are gay? Also, when it comes to sex, any sort of pre-marital sex is also a sin. How can something pleasurable between 2 consenting adults be considered wrong when no harm is being done whatsoever? If these truly are the rules of God, why would I want to worship an entity that would not reward those who have led a good life, yet reward those who have committed atroscities?

me, and what I am to be in life. I know God has called me to be a missionary, but, I need some more direction. I am trying to figure out, if it be foreign or home, and what college I am to go to. Also, pray for our church and I. We have just lost our pastor a few weeks ago. and i am taking it hard. We are searching for the man God wants for us behind the pulpit. I have been stuggling since I was really close to the former pastor and wife. Well Thankyou so much, and God Bless, and Take care!

Even when I pointed out that Christians are contradicting each other re: Old testament laws vs. New testament laws, and asked for clarification, nearly every answer I got contradicted the next one:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20060829184607AAjXdw0&r=w

One guy even contradicted himself by saying "Jesus did not overturn any of the laws." and "The Jews, I understand still live by the old law, but Christians do not" WTF???

OK , is it the case that some Christian sects believe one thing about this issue, and other sects believe something else?

Maybe baptists have one take, Methodists another, and Catholics yet another.

Could that be an explanation for these disagreements that Christians are having on this issue?

I mean so many religious people attack its imperfections in creation like it is supposed to be a theory of creating something? What in the world gave anyone that idea? It is a (very scietifically backed up, but yes still imperfect) theory of how the universe came to be in its present state and why it is expanding and why we are getting radiations from what seems like a center point. What happened before the big bang would be a completely different theory. You could go with singularity or genesis, maybe you think everything was here but in the forms of quarks or strings, the point is that doesn't have much to do with the actual event "the big bang".

So did you know that? If not, tell your friends, get them to stop posting "How does the big bang explain creation" questions.

Maybe it's strange that I have a real question posted...
What are your thoughts on Calvinism and Arminianism? Which do you believe and why?
The fact that you happen to know what those words mean is important and please, no one sentence answers. Just collecting perspectives...

bridge the gap of indifferrences and lessen the threat brought about by religious war. But I don't understand why we put emphasis on the differences or perceived "flaws" on one doctrine and extend the hand of peace on another. Do we have to conquer first before and with all humility extend the hand of peace?

Why can't you stop hiding and lying and decieving and ask for forgiveness?
Why do you think you win when your reward is the same for all who you decieve ?
Don't you think they will all turn on you when the chains are applied to lock you into and in your vile sick little kingdom with your cohorts and pissed off souls in their eternal sufferings?
Whoa be it unto you bub.

the Lord doesn't need His saints and the virgin mary to gather prayers from the living faithful to help Him out. HE"S GOD!, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. besides, they are all dead and just their souls are in heaven too busy praising the Lord with a temporary covering awaiting the first resurection to be reunited with the body still in the grave.
