I've been married to my hubby for a year now..........the whole time we've been together neither of us have been practicing any religion. I am a non-practicing catholic and his mom raised him Jehovah's witness for a couple of years but he was never baptized. Now out of nowhere he tells me he is thinking about converting later on...........what the hell am I supposed to say to that? How do I deal with this because I know it will not work out if he does?

suppose a generator as a first living being on earth .. then producing electricity is living and surviving according to this assumption ..
it must have the ability to produce electricity .. cylinders , shafts , oil and water .. and some gasoline . enough to make it able for searching its food ( gasoline in this situation ) .. all of these togather must be there ..
and do not forget it must have the ability of reproduce itself .. otherwise it dies ( stop running ) .. that requires DNA chain in living beings .. and for generator you can name it a catalogue or a design explaines what parts is there .. its dimentions .. etc ..
what do you think ?.. is it ordinary these happens all togather ..?

like i have stated in my previouse questions which most have been deleted i have had four abortions and just got my fifth one today because i didnt want to ruin my new tattoos on my stomach from pregnancy. i dont understand what the big deal is. god says if i ask for forgivness i go to heaven and i have and i think god everynight that i have the right to abort babies and the right to my wonderful tattoos. you should have seen the kind of things that christians were calling me. i guess i just proved that you guys dont practice what you preach. and arent all sins equal to eachother in gods eyes? so me getting five abortions to save my tattoos is no different to the things you guys said in my other question in gods eyes. so i guess i will see you guys in hell.

I was reading earlier and I starting wondering... why the rib? why not a shinbone, or a hip?

My only guess is that you can live a normal life if you are missing only one rib whereas just about every other bone in the body would have a serious effect on you if you lost it... does that make sense?

Also, are there any archetypical/paganistic symbols or meanings associated with the rib? I can't think of any... but if anything had significance, wouldn't a rib?

just curious.

Last night I dreamed of a relative who committed suicide as one month ago. In the dream he told me that it were very well, that was satisfied and that was not sheltering bad thoughts for anybody. Ok sorry for being sick but in a group at a bible study there are men(and some women) moaning in a sort of moan that u'd only hear behind closed doors in the bedroom. This is hypothetical questions based on real life situation. I am sure everyone will concur on how unpredictable life is. With sudden twist life brings, people die from disease, car accident, heart attack on any given day.
1. How would you as a Christian react if you were diagnosed with cancer and had only 3 months to live?
2. How would you as a Christian react if you got hit by a drunk driver and had to live with paralyzed body for the rest of ur life?
Would you at least protest to God on why terrible things like this had to happen in ur life?
I would appreciate any frank or honest feedback. Thanks.

because there is strong evidence for it truthfulness
-27% is fulfilled prophecy and most has already been fulfilled
-archaeology has confirmed it
-lives have been changed for the good
-it gives the best answer for everything like "where did the rainbow come from?" It was a promise from God to Noah that He wouldnt flood the world again. Or "why do we speak different languages?" God did it to confound man who disobeyed Him by building a big city instead of dispersing.
-it teaches that Jesus can pay for your sin in contrast to other religions who have to earn their way even though no one is holy enough, but if you really do have Jesus he will change you.
