How can you refute the Word of God, The only Son of God, Jesus Christ. ? You could question the method of writing of the four gospels and the disciples but not the basic tenets of teachings of Christ.

Though I admit that I'm a little uncertain what I believe regarding his teachings about slavery.
I don't believe in slavery, so Jesus and I would have to disagree on that one.

...and if someone asks you to carry his pack a mile, carry it two mile... I'm an american and I don't believe in submitting to my oppressors. (This passage specifically reffered to roman soldiers who could legally force you to carry their packs a mile)
