-27% is fulfilled prophecy and most has already been fulfilled
-archaeology has confirmed it
-lives have been changed for the good
-it gives the best answer for everything like "where did the rainbow come from?" It was a promise from God to Noah that He wouldnt flood the world again. Or "why do we speak different languages?" God did it to confound man who disobeyed Him by building a big city instead of dispersing.
-it teaches that Jesus can pay for your sin in contrast to other religions who have to earn their way even though no one is holy enough, but if you really do have Jesus he will change you.

-27% of its guesses became reality? Wow, sounds like a really reliable book.
-Archeology as in? The fact there are some obscure references to objects of texts?
-Lives have been changed for the good with many other things: medicine, therapy, education, money, etc.
-Yeah, the ark is the best way to explain a rainbow, not light and water... right by here I'm starting to think this is bs...I hope.
-Accept Jesus, repent sins, be a good christian by trying not to sin again, that definitely sounds like not having to earn your way.

Please tell me this is a joke.

-Where did you get that statistic?

-Archaeology has confirmed WHAT?

-Going to the gym changes lives for the better. I'm not going to worship a barbell because of it.

-Filling the gaps in our knowledge with guesses, mythology and belief systems is just a comforting way of deluding ourselves. Why don't we just admit "WE DON'T KNOW" and be content with it?

-It also teaches that taunting prophets will get you torn to shreds by bears. Not the best life manual.

Oh, sorry, almost forgot... no, I don't say that I don't believe in the Bible without having read it. I HAVE read it and I still say "this book is total bunk".

I have read the bible. More than once. I have never found anything that proves it is real. And I find my answers in science, which give me much more logical answers for the existence of rainbows and language.

If you would like to provide a link to evidence of the "archeology" that has "confirmed" the bible, by all means do so.

I have read it many times and as a child I read Grimms Fairy tales many times. I mainly read the bible for the teachings of Jesus which are similar to the teachings of Buddah, Olodumare and countless others. The rest of it just tells us how to keep women as second class citizens, how to wage wars, the proper way to keep slaves and to fear a loving god who can go off on you at any time for no reason at all.

I have read the entire book. I have also read the texts that were omitted by the church. I have also found that the books that remain in the bible have been edited. Therefore, I do not believe in the bible because I have read it. I enjoy some of the writings that are in the book, but overall, it is not a book to be taken literally and in its entirety.

I've read it and I don't believe it.
All books have some truth, none are infallible. If God chose to write a single book with all of his thoughts, he could not fail to be understood. We would all stop arguing because God's book would make perfect sense.... it would not be subject to interpretation. it would not be confusing, it would not raise more questions than it answers. So the fact that we are still arguing proves God didn't write ONE book....maybe he co-wrote many.

I have read the Bible and ironically that's why I don't believe in it. The more I read and the more contradictions I came across the less I could give any credibility to it.
