Depends on who you ask.

From my beliefs no. But then I am not God...so therefore I cannot prove it to you.

I would say being a good human being does count.... It is wonderful that you want to be a good human being. It just says in the bible that acts of service will not get you into the kingdom of heaven.

I would search for the truth yourself....read the bible and ask God for help...Only HE TRULY KNOWS the way to heaven.

I believe by faith that through Christ dying for my sins that I will go to heaven. Many "Christians" will see my answer as doubtful...I am not doubtful....I just don't judge and truly leave the answer to God.

Good Luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

No. When you reject Jesus, you are rejecting God.

All have sinned and come short of God's Glory. Even you. It is good to follow the 10 commandments to the best of ones ability. But if you really did love God & had no idols in your life, you would know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Meditating on God's Word (10 commandments) reveals God. God reveals the truth about the Son of God.

So, you need to realize you're a sinner needing a Saviour. Jesus shed His own blood for the remission of your sins. Confess Jesus Christ your LORD. Believe in your heart He rose from the dead and you will be saved. Heart faith is what is important. With that comes heart change. The old stony heart is gone. A new loving soft heart replaces it. Then that is a spiritual rebirth. You are now a child of God, Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Everlasting life is a free gift, through heart faith. Not by being good enouph or works. None of us can be good enouph. To get into heaven you need to receive the gift of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ the LORD.

First and foremost, we are no longer under the 10 commandments but are under the principles of it. The 600 laws along with the 10 commandmens that israelist lived by, died when Jesus died. Jesus instituted a new commandment , love God with all your heart and soul and your neighbor as yourself. Problem with people is that they don't read the bible and believe what someone elses tells them. Sad! Also, he commanded christians to spread the good news Matth 28:19, 20 :Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit..." Finally, "works without faith is dead". Follow this, and you just might make the narrow path that leads to salvation.

I don't think you will be able to follow the ten commandments...just try for one day .and you will fail in fact we all will..remember we are even judged on our thoughts..if we could live by the ten commandments there would have been no need for Jesus to come and die on the cross.. but because as humans , born with a sinful nature .. we need the sacrifice he made for us making us right with God..
that then makes sense in what Jesus said that he is the only way to the Father..because he is the only one who has ever kept the ten commandments..he is the only one who has fulfilled the requirements of the law (ten commandments) so he is the only one who can be the sacrificial lamb that atones for sin..
Look at the law .. not one person when it was given was able to keep it ..so they made sacrifices to God to atone for their sins till the time of Jesus , Then he was the lamb without blemish , and that put an end to animal sacrifices..without Jesus there is no remission for sins..without Jesus there is no gate to heaven ..

No, sorry. First off, you can't keep all 10 commandments without breaking one. No one can except Jesus. Secondly, God says that all of your righteousness is just like filthy rags to Him. You need Christ's righteousness to get you into heaven. Lastly, Jesus said that no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you could get to heaven without believing in Christ, there would be no reason for Christ to have come and died on the cross for your sins. There is only one way to heaven. Don't fight Christ, embrace Him.

Nope. Doing good things now does not make up for the wrong things already done. If you desire to get into heaven that way, then you would have to had kept the commandments with perfection from cradle to the grave. Good luck without Jesus paying your and my sin debt.

Um...no. Can't make it on your own merits, bud...only the merits of the Author of salvation, Jesus Christ, who offers it freely to you. Keeping the law is the natural response of gratitude...and even that's done by His grace alone.

Check out this example: You're cookin' down the road about 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Cop pulls ya over..you know you're busted but you try the sob-story anyway... Cop kinda smirks, knowing ya don't stand a chance, then says, "tell ya what, I'm letting ya off the hook today; but I expect ya to keep the law...for your own safety." "Thanks, officer!" ya chide...then peel outa the side of the road and take off again at 99mph...YEAH RIGHT! Your sorry hide's gonna crawl along at a measly 50, just 'cuz you're completely relieved and thankful for that cop's grace...

That's kinda how to understand law and Christ's grace for you when you're a Christian...you don't earn your way to heaven nor do ya keep breakin' the law 'cuz you think it's just a free-for-all!

I think it depends what you feel in your heart. Do you think that you are doing God a disservice by not believing in Jesus? Or do you honestly not believe that Jesus is the son of God and he doesn't deserve to be worshiped. If you honestly feel that you are following God's path for you with no reservations in your heart then I think you will make it to heaven.

NO. That was the "rich young rulers" big mistake. He thought he was doing a dandy job of keeping the Law. But Jesus told him to get rid of all he had, and to come and follow him. The man wanted his money even if it meant that God seen him as a covetous Law breaker. Ironically, the Bible tells us that the man went away in sorrow, rich, but sad.
The purpose of the Law was never to produce salvation, rather it was to show us our inability to keep the Law, thus our need of a Savior.
Along comes Jesus, tempted like us, yet without sin, went to cross, paid the debt of death we owed, and gave us the opportunity to place our faith in Him resulting in Eternal Life --- Thank You Lamb of God.

No. According to the doctrine, if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior you will go to heaven. You might not make it into heaven but your life will be better here on Earth anyway.
