That's a good question. Here's a better idea. All of those parents should find a way to send their children to private schools. That way the government would be forced to change the public school system. What would they do if they lost most of their students? I know it's not really possible but it sounds pretty good to me.

What school does have a subject Evolution?
it is a pitty that so many won't take responsibillity for there own beliefs. Or give those with other belifs any credit for their own choice.
Youré question deserves deleting actually. Think I will shamble off and pick the gravel rash off my knuckles.

Let me take a punt that you are a Christian? Sorry if you are Muslim as islam's views on this seem to be identical.

Why not share the Gospel? Creationism is not the Gospel it is a distraction from it. Any fundermentalist religion can get caught up in creationism. Does it matter if I am a monkeys nephew if I commit to Jesus.
I mean you fundos are always telling us scientists how to be scientists why can't i remind you of your need to witness?
Where is the Love in creationism? It is just that same old whiny "I have knowledge" stuff that puffs up. not love that builds up.

Kudos to AK89 for a well said answer. Evolution is a fact. I used to be an ignoramus like the guy who posted this question... but thank God I discovered the facts. But most Creationists are unwilling to take the time or invest the energy needed to thoroughly research the subject. Instead they would rather depend on their ignorant pastors for the "truth". Creationist garbage in... Creationists garbage out. I'm amazed at how anybody can believe that an imaginary God spoke a complex universe into existence. Absolutely ridiculous.

Don't get offended, serious question. Do you understand evolution? Most if not all arguments against it are based on simple misunderstandings of the facts. It is a FACT that populations change over time. People are getting taller. Conduct your own research and you will find people are taller than they were 100 years ago. Abe Lincoln was only 6 foot and people thought he was huge. Now 6 foot is not big deal. Overtime populations change. Over a million generations populations change a great deal. Regardless of the origin of the first speck of life, evolution is a proven fact. Why do you think diseases become resistent to our antibiotics. Before you go ranting and complaining, conduct some research and find out the truth.

probably not because creationism is not science. it has no place in a science classroom. it's legend at best. fantasy at worst. why can't parents teach their kids about creationism instead of forcing teachers to impart a version of creation they might not believe in? evolution is science. it's scientific method at it's best. it may be flawed but it is science.
creationism might have a place in a sociology class. but then you'd have to include other versions of creationism as well. the problem with your idea is that you would be forcing everyone to learn and believe what you do. and that's just not fair or legal.

Why does the teaching of proven science need to be removed from the curriculum of PUBLIC schools? Students of many backgrounds and religious beliefs attend public school, and it would be irresponsible of teachers to only teach YOUR view. If you want your children taught your version, pony up the money and enroll them in a school that does teach your view. If anything, my kids would receive a better education because there would be fewer kids of religious nuts in public school, thereby giving my kids more attention. So, please feel free to have your kids sit out and miss out on the opportunity to learn facts that will allow them to make an independent decision on which faith, if any, they choose to follow.

Why don't you just drop out of school. The Amish are devout followers of Christ and Biblical Truth, and they don't get educated beyond 8th grade. You don't need higher education to be a 18th century farmer. If things like evolution, and physics, and science, and reality bother you, just join a group of uneducated throw-back fanatics. Christ might want you to do it.

foulweather seems to have his brains fouled up somewhere. I would be annoyed if I wasn't laughing my head off at the insanity of a presumably adult man living in the 21st century, but acting like he was back in the dark ages. How can anyone be so ridiculous and actually be serious?

If that was to happen we would have nothing but a bunch of speculating lunatics running our world, evolution will win out and you can bet your a$$ on that, I believe science will prove the bible was written soley to control the people and that god did create man through evolution.

I don't know but I'd be pissed and send my kids to school in another country where they still taught things that had some kind of factual base besides "we don't know what done it, so maybe this is how it happened."
