A police officer allows a cry for help from a nearby rape victim go unanswered.
A parent watches as their child plays in the middle of a busy road.
A friend lets another friend drive drunk in the middle of the day through a residential zone.
A government allows its territory to be annexed by an enemy who murders the current residents, without so much as a word of protest.

Would you respect these people for allowing freedom of choice, or would you condemn them for monsterous negligence on their part? Doesn't power and station give them responsibility?

... if you're not sure why this question is in the religion section, please just give it a little more thought.

Is it not utterly evil to expect people to live & die alone devoid of affection as not married as no perfect partner worht marrying or unable to pull the one they loved ?

Is it not better for people to have boy or girlfriends or simply someone to share a night with so not lonly and hurt. And to enjoy all their experinces of each life age zone... ie the uni parties, the high school prom and lovers cliff cars, spin the bottle, the live in things etc.

Whilst waiting for someone special & hopeing each next one is the one?

The last post all the chrisitn scum said they wanted people to die alone as virgins having hever felt a hug in their life or missing out on all the experiences everyone else was doing...till it was too late... i mean what 50 year old does it on the back seat of a car or snog in a cinema?

Oh and taking into account condoms and the pill so no pregncy or aids... and no the virus is not small enough to apss though unless oil gets on the rubber

From what have read in the bible, the soul is our enitre self as a being. It Jesus is the life and we only get immortality through him, why do many Christians say the soul never dies? Either we are immortal or we're not and have to resurrect. If God gives eternal life to the saved, he isn't also going to give eternal life to the unsaved, is he? I have one big question for you:
If eternal life can be given, cant't it also be taken away?

Why limit our god's power?

I am Pagen and some people think that all that means is I believe in witchcraft. I believe in a higher power and I think that just believing in something should be what matters. Just because my religon celibrates nature more than a "God" does that make it wrong? Why?

Every day you make decisions, simple ones from what am I having for dinner to difficult ones that shake the core of your being.
How do you decide which road to take?
Let’s say one path is dark and treacherous and it may bring you great enlightenment or great pain. You can’t see the end but you know how the path begins and that at the end of the path you will forever be changed.
The opposite path is goodness and light, nothing changes, everything stays the same. It is always the same.
Which path do you choose and why?
The path fraught with toil and pain for the benefit of experience and knowledge or the path that is simple and easy for the benefit of convenience.

Like a near death experience? My great uncle had died for a couple minutes then came back. When he came back he told his wife that he would need a basket. She asked why? Then he replied and said he was in a beautiful field of flowers and wanted to bring them back to give to her. Im guessin he got a taste of what heaven is like. What was yours?

Job 38:1-21(NIV)
1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: 2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? 3 Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.

4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. 5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? 6 On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone-- 7 while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? 8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, 9 when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, 10 when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, 11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt'?

12 "Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, 13 that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?

1. The existence of a Supreme Being is unknown and unknowable.
To believe in the existence of a god is an act of faith. To believe in the nonexistence of a god is likewise an act of faith. There is no evidence that there is a Supreme Being nor is there evidence there is not a Supreme Being. Faith is not knowledge. We can only state with assurance that we do not know.
2. If there is a Supreme Being, then that being appears to act as if apathetic to events in our universe.
All events in our Universe, including its creation, can be explained with or without the existence of a Supreme Being. Thus, if there is indeed a God, then that god has had no more impact than no god at all. To all appearances, any purported Supreme Being is indifferent to our Universe and to its inhabitants.
3. We are apathetic to the existence or nonexistence of a Supreme Being.
What do you think?
