No there is no scripture to support the idea it was Satan (and if it was, why would God let Satan into Eden when God is all-knowing?) There is no scripture that claims Adam could talk to all the animals. There is no scripture to claim they talked through ESP.

Chapter and verse answers please. Personal interpretations are not shared by all Christians.

...Evil, what did they learn -after- eating?

And why Gen 3:22 (which occurs after Adam and Eve ate the fruit) "Behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil..."

Chapter and verse answers, please. None of this fuzzy interpretative stuff. Your personal interpretation of scripture is not shared by all Christians.

Please SPECIFY YOUR RELIGION. It's ok to mention a few verses as textual examples, but PLEASE no LOOOOOOOONG quotes. I'm sure everybody here is capable of looking up verses for themselves.

I am a Christian woman struggling with a relationship with her mother. I need to know, BIBLICALLY speaking, what the word "honor" means. If I am to honor my parents, how am I to demonstrate this? How do I live out "honoring" my parents in the Biblical sense -- they way God intended when he gave us this commandment? What is NOT included in honoring one's parents?

I am not looking for your personal opinion of the interpretation of the word honor or of the commandment itself. I am looking for a theological interpretation, based on scholarship (which, yes, I know is still grounded in opinion, but I believe in Spirit-lead revelations). Thanks so much.
