The pathetic truth
Usually by taking an hours sleep more then everyone else because I feel I need it; I am somewhat fragile mentally speaking and a lot seems to happen in my mind at night - so some mornings I wake up more tired than when I went to bed.
Then I kinda mozzy into breakfast - a simple enough one; tea, toast cereal and a bit of grapefruit, if I've remembered to get one.
Then I respond to the challenge of the day as best as I can without getting to freaked out or overly ambitious and I always try to integrate prayer in to some physical task...I avoid travel if at all possible…do a bit of Yoga and maybe go for a cycle…and then later on read the Bible for a half and hour before going to bed....and then just hope I wake up sane in the morning.
Mostly I try not to let my head get wrecked by the people who seem hell bent on wrecking my mental equilibrium.
But then there’s the joy of people like you Deb’s who like a sun-shower just seem to effortlessly wipe all the bad stuff of the windscreen of my life…so I see clear again….
Praise the Lord for the light of the human soul (I'm RC and a bit of a Marian devotee to boot)

I start and close my day with prayers. I seek spiritual guidance and strength to serve God.
I happily realize that God constantly favours me with more blessings than I wish. I spend many hours every day to converse with various people on Internet with joy and with hope for the unity of all mankind under the protection of God.
Since you ask about my Faith, I wish to include here some sentences about it.
"The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion. With more than five million adherents residing in over 124,000 localities, the Bahá'í Faith is established in 204 countries across the planet. The spiritual principles of the Bahá'í Faith affirm its overall purpose--to bring about the oneness of humanity. In cooperation with these same principles, Bahá'ís also believe that there is only one Creator and that the spiritual truth of all religions is the same. From a Bahá'í perspective, The Bahá'í Faith is the most recent of the world's great religions. It forms the next link in a chain of important, divine teachings, a progressive revelation that places Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, as the Messenger of God for this age."

Morning of choice:

During the summer months I get up before the sunrises and go for a short run to get the blood flowing and the cobwebs out of my brain. I get back to the house and have a glass or two of water. While it is just getting light I settle in one my deck, which faces east, with a bowl of salt water and do some rhythmic breathing and then a saltwater purification to lessen the grip of any negative thoughts that might be lingering from the day before. (This is just a meditation where I pour out negative thoughts into the saltwater). As the sunrises I list out those things that I am grateful. This list gets pretty long usually and it focuses my mind on what is right in my world. By now the sun is up and I thank him for sharing his morning with me. I go inside and give my wife a hug and a kiss.

Morning by Chance:

I have a little girl who is just about to turn two. Quite often she wakes up crying at around 5:30. If that is the case I get her and cuddle her in my lap and we watch the sunrise together from the kitchen table. She gets to sip her milk and I’ll make myself a cappuccino before we settle in. Sometimes she goes back to sleep other times we just hang out together and get an early start to the day.

I’m Neo-Pagan (Isian Witch).

Fall out of bed half asleep and try to wake up in the shower. Have breakfast watching the TV news. Make myself some lunch, kiss the wife and kids and rush off to work.

If I could actually *choose* how to start my day, I'd get up later and have a leisurely two-course breakfast sitting in the warm sunshine in my garden.

Not religious.

Get up and listen to the news, have my coffee, take the dog for a walk so I can get some exercise then what ever needs to be done that day. No faith as you ask it. I am the one responsible for me and I am the one I believe in.
