Could you please explain to me, the problem resulting from the discovery of nylon-eating bacteria?

Where did the CSI for nylonase—the actual protein that the bacteria use to break down the nylon—come from?

Why do they keep telling us that atheism is a faith? Why do they think they know what we believe?
Then they criticize us for being here. how arrogant!!!
why?

I've been wondering about a baptism situation: say there is a husband and wife couple, both of whom are not believers. The husband receives a substantial brain injury and reverts to a permanent vegetative state. The wife becomes a believer, and becomes baptised.

According to the rules of denominations that practice believer baptism (e.g. Baptist, Church of Christ, etc.) could the wife request to have her husband baptised? The husband, a non-believer prior to his injury, never made a profession of faith, and due to the brain injury can never make a profession before death. so would the church approve or allow the baptism if requested by the wife, or would this violate the rules of believer baptism?

(Side note: I believe in both infant baptism and believer baptism. To me, it's important, but NOT necessary for salvation [for instance, the thief on the cross was pardoned by Christ without baptism])

Thanks.

Just because it contains some actual historical people, events, and places that may be confirmed by archaeology, does not in the least imply the crazy stuff is true. Does it? Couldn't anyone confuse myths they believed with people and history they were familiar with to make a fictional work that contains actual historical people, places, and events, but is nevertheless a work of fiction?

When they consistantly misunderstand our inquiries? Are you purposely dodging the questions because they are rhetorical or do you really just not understand the questions?

I never go to church. I don't think i should waste a sunday sitting in a building listening to an old guy preach. I can be doing more productive things with my time. Like cleaning around the house and buying groceries and stuff like that. I don't understand why we have to "WORSHIP" God. So if you go to church, how often do you go, and why???

think about it. We phillistines would be entertained, the lions would get a good square meal, and the Christians would go to Heaven! Everyone's happy!

I want to the funeral for my sister-in-laws father yesterday. I have to admit that I was a little taken aback. Ninety-eight percent of the service was devoted to a; get saved or end up in hell message. He heard next to nothing about the deceased. It seemed strange that there was nothing geared towards celebrating the man’s life. Is this common?

In the Charge, She says She wants no sacrifices. If this be true, then She is unique among the Beings of the universe. How is it She lets you off the hook of quid pro quo when Jaweh and Baal and Allah demand blood and firstborns?

Psychologists say that people will die for what they believe in unless they've been given proof that the belief is false. We won't die for something that we know is false. We especially wouldn't go through torture for something that we made up.

Many argue that Jesus was never resurrected, and that His followers only made up the story to start a church (?). Not that the argument isn't flawed in other ways, but I offer up the following:

With this in mind, think about the apostles of Jesus that were willing to die in horrible torturous ways defending their rabbi that they saw resurrected. Would you let someone skin you alive knowing that you'd made something up? Would you let them burn your or crucify you upside down? Would you sit in prison after prison simply because you talked about this event? I don't believe anyone would.
