i love heavy metal and i wear tom boy and punk clothes but i dont want to be a goth. i have nothing against goth just its not my religion. my religion is redneck!!!!

What?! Redneck or goth is not a religion, it is who you are. Just because you listen to a certain type of music and dress a certain way, does not mean you from a certain group. You are definitely not goth because there is more to it than music and clothes. I wish people knew that!

Ok, first of all, redneck isn't a religion, it's a horrible thing to admit to. I love heavy metal too, yet I am a christian mom of 3. That doesn't mean I have to look and act like a redneck! Don't give us metal heads a bad name!

Am... called be ignorance but i have no idea of what redneck is.loving heavy metal has nothing to do with goth.i am sure you're a beautiful person so what would you want to label your self like that such negativity .come out from the darkness and show your beauty don't cover it with baggy cloths.
all there is to be all you could be.if you are comfortable that way them go on but put some colors into it so you would look like a goth since that's what you're afraid of.

If someone told you, "yeah, you're goth as they come", would you change what you wore and listened to just to appease them? Besides that, being goth isn't a religion (nor is redneck, but I'll let that one go)...
If you like metal, listen to it. That's cool.
If you like tom boy/punk/whatever clothing, WEAR 'EM!
Stereotypes are basically opinion, and opinion isn't truth. So they can say they think you're goth, and if you aren't comfortable that, just tell 'em you aren't and that they shouldn't judge you.
