and make up their minds about him and ask/answer questions about him on here that are just anger fueled and bash God all the time?Has anyone noticed that it's mostly Atheists asking and answering questions in the religion and spirituality section?

Is it best to ask WHY rather than WHY NOT?

My application form to Yahoo Q&A did not have any fine print in regards to having a specific opinion to be a member. It only ask me not to use this for business and to try to use acceptable language.

I am a pure Bible believeing Guy and it is my life and not a way of life. I am of the opinion that My God did form. make, and/or create all humankind and that He knew exactly what they would do and say during their visit to Yahoo Q&A. Since He does not ZAP them or erase their questions and answers I just assume He does not object to it. So in my view if My God does know about it, allows it to be, and so far has not ZAPPED anyone, who am I to fight against My God. I choose to let Him be the Boss.

If in fact my friend your statistics are true if the atheists did leave, who would ask the questions that I like to answer and who would answer the questions. Please do not take a lot of pleasure away from me in my old age and just let all who do desire to ask and answer do so. Just try to be open minded and accept the fact every unit of the humankind is unique because that is the plan of my God in my view.

Please do have a good day and learn to accept others in this life as fellow humankind with the same status and rights that you have.

The main answer...(And I am a God-Fearing Christian)
EVERYONE has AN OPINION OR BELIEF about God and religion "The End"

I wish that everyone in the entire world would realize that everyone has a right to there own opinion and there opinion beliefs and that people would accept that fact. Everyone does not have to believe in the same thing and agree. If that was the case, then this question would be void.

Christians and Atheist (and all other religions) get this through your head, your beliefs are your beliefs. Share them, but dont subject them or enforce them ON everyone.

I'm not an atheist, I don't think. I do have lots of questions about God and religion, because I really would like to understand. I haven't asked any here though!

Atheist don't have anything to say about god.

The point is, if you actually pay attention, neither does anyone else and the sooner you realise that, the better. God is not the issue. People telling lies and using these lies to justify their prejudices is what religion is all about. Atheists and agnostics challenge the dishonesty and hypocrisy of religion. God is irrelevant.

The very wording of your question is a lie, by the way.

I challenge anyone who asks this question to see the video at the link below. It is the best answer that I have seen to this question. Please watch with an open mind. It is not an attack on any religion or on the belief in God. The video is 5 minutes long, 5 minutes well spent.

Atheists only have one opinion on the "issue" of God. And that is: there is none. "It" was created by man as a means of coping with the unknown: what happens after death; and acted as a back up tool for kingdoms to keep people united under country rule.

Do you think a soldier would have fought in a war for a king if it were known that there was no life after death? Of course not. But the ignorant, that is to say, those who aren't educated, rely on who they follow for their opinions to be made.

I have nothing against anyone who believes in God. I just feel sorry for them because they are wasting their lives on false hope.

This is an open forum of questions and answers. Everybody has equal right to be heard.

Just because the title is religion and spirituality doesn't make it a christian forum. There are plenty of valid question with regards to atheism/agnostic/christian and all other world faiths.

Relax, this isn't exclusively a place to talk about god.

The only people that are offended is the "Fundamentalist Christians" - we mainstream Christians or C&E Christians you call us, know that you are our wacky division...

Born agains give Christianity the black eye it doesn't need as you people are as intolerant as the fanatical muslims we have to deal with - you talk about how loving your religions are and yet are the same religions to cause the most deaths around this planet..

Just Shut Up already & start claiming yourself as a "Born Again" or a "Fundamentalist" Christian and QUIT HIDING behind the majority of us mainstream Christians.. You are no different than these muslim terrorist who hide within their own civilians who complain from within how you are being treated...

I think it is because most atheist grew up in a pro-religious environment. If so many people think you are wrong, you start trying to find arguments for your opinion to make a well-researched decision.

Also, if they would simply not care about whether God exists or not, they would be "not interested in religion" and not atheists.

I do not have an opinion, I have an understanding that there is no god. It is not based on anger or malice but is based on study and research as I moved away from christianity to atheism.

and I don't bash christians unless they bash first.
