Not exactly afraid, but I know that i do not want to go there.
A person's actions should not be motivated by the desire to avoid punishment, but by love for God and his or her fellow man.
A person who does good works solely out of fear of punishment for NOT doing good works does not have love in his or her heart and those actions are hollow and meaningless.
"If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.
And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing"
1 Cor 13: 1-3

Yes, and everyone should be. We can have faith, study the word, do good deeds, hope and pray that Our eternity is in Heaven, but only God knows the true answer.
Picture all the evil that exists. Those who kill, rape, abuse, torture and dispose of good People. Mix that with all the horror movies ever made. Hell will be worse.

If I wasn't saved by Jesus blood!
Of course I'll be afraid and terrified and can't sleep all night!
But when Jesus entered my heart, He gave me real full peace. Also He gave me eternal life, and I'm sure I'm going to heaven.
I don't worry about hell anymore!
if you like to be free from hell I'm ready to help you

well first off to be afraid of it you have to believe it exists. and secondly if it exists you must ask yourself its a physical or spiritual place. if its physical then technically we should be able to travel there (that is if technology allowed). else, its spiritual. and if its spiritual then we can not be physically harmed (i.e. tormented) without a physical body. so if hell did exist as a spiritual place then we could only be harmed emotionally. *shrug* cant say that im deathly afraid of it. (others have explained hell as a place of sins of pleasure) i

I have no fear of hell.
First, because I do not believe a truly benevolent god, if one were to exist, would create a place of eternal torment.
Second, because I have a "Get Out of Hell Free" card in my wallet. What? You don't have one?! Well, get one, man! And quickly, or you're going to hell!! :-)

No, but it's a shame to cease to exist. Hell is an event in which the Earth is cleansed and Heaven is the atmosphere of the New Earth, that's my belief. Love casteth away fear.
Your soul is the entire being and it can die.
