i ask serious questions im fair about picking the best answers im not rude to any one. i only give serious answers. take my last question for example this person said it was a virus so not many people answered and a few just did it for the points. ive had to change my avatar a few times because people still it and try to copy my name and post some really awful stuff. is there any thing we can do about this?

I was watching a show called Living the Life and they were talking about surrendering to God and forgiving and moving on and stop carrying the extra baggage to have a better life...and it hit me I have been carrying all this baggage for many years and its weighing me down and bringing in negativty in my life and keeping me from being successful...what do you think?

did this weirdo at the mall insist on following me around until i took his little jesus loves you book?

he aproached me like he was a disgruntled rapist.

anyway i told him to leave me alone and he said i have to talk to you i can help save your soul. i finally took the litle book after a half hour and i read the bible passages in it and the conclusion is most passages mentioned going to hell for rejecting jesus in my life.

and the rest contradicted each other.

and im still an atheist.

oh and if your one of the people handing out little jesus loves you books. please dont aproach like a stalker/rapist because i was about to hit this guy,
or you could just refrain from shoving your religion down our throats. we dont try to convert you.

I've done internet searches and still the major differences aren't clear I mean, they seem to both be paganistic so is the only difference in the little statues they worship? Do they follow difference principles? A crash course or a nice site would be helpful. Thanks!

God of the bible seems to care more about being the only god and being worshipped and no other gods or idols and having a special day to worship himetc etc than he does about other sins of man against man. IS This GOD selfish and conceited or what? this does not sound like any GOD I can beleive in. How some some love and forgiveness in there somewhere GOD . I do not think you are the real god but an imposter.

Its wrong to think that way because other people have different beliefs and everyone should have the right to believe what they want. No ones religion is better than someone elses because whatever religion you have is the best for and whatever religion someone else is the best for them. This is for all you religious people who think your religion is better than everyone elses and think you should convert everyone be considerate of others and by doing what your doing is not making God happy, God wants you to respect others and follow your religion. Your making your religion look bad. Religion is not something you fight about. People like you are making religion seem bad. Religion is something your supposed to feel at ease and at peace with.

Thou shalt not kill seems simple but maybe not. God was always telling his people to kill others, ( EX : Cannanites) so maybe he meant thou shalt no MURDER, which is unauthorized killing.
I assume he was referring to other human beings but maybe he meant only other Jews? does this rule mean that the state cannot kill a murderer who is convicted. is capital punishment unchristian? if it is OK to kill certain people or in certain situations, should not god have spelled it out a bit more for us? Maybe abortions are OK with GOD? Maybe that is one of the situations he allows. does GOD want bastards to be born?

People didn't have clocks and stuff like that back then. Did people seem to accomplish more in a day (i.e. working on the farm or what have you). Or do we do more now with our time?
