Gary Busey, who played in "The Buddy Holly Story", back in the 70's, got into a motorcycle crash in the 80's. He became a born-again Christian, and has appeared in a few Christian movies over the years. Very good actor, indeed!
Kirk Cameron is a born-again Christian. Lisa Whelchel, who played "Blair" on the "Facts of Life" tv series, is one, also.

3 of the guys from U2 are born again Christians, Bono, The Edge & Larry Mullen Jnr. Is that famous enough for you? And yes there is proof of that, just read any of the biographies that are out there about them & read any of their interviews in Rolling Stone magazine & you'll read that they call themselves born again Christians.
