Please stop embarassing yourself with your obvious ignorance of ancient history. Archeology proves you so very wrong. You can give me as many books to read as possible. Archeology will STILL prove you AND those books wrong. The truth is hard to swallow, isn't it? The Quran can't teach you everything, trust me. I read it. It certainly doesn't have calculus or internal combustion. I suggest you go to university and try and learn something outside of an 200 page book!

You need to check your archeological and historical facts.
Israel was never ruled by Egypt in 1200 BCE! They just travelled through it to go on their military campaigns in Canaan! Israel was first recognized as a country in 1200 BCE and Egyptian steles prove this. The kingdom split into two in 920 BCE, and the north was Israel and the south was Judah. Israel fell to the Assyrians in 720 BCE and Judah fell to the Babylonians in 528 BCE.

Israel has also been mentioned in Assyrian and Babylonian inscriptions.

Please, learn your history. I can recommend you several books on the history and politics of ancient Israel if you like.

The Bible doesn't mention Israel being ruled by Egypt because it NEVER WAS ruled by Egypt. They conquered a few cities, but that's hardly called ruling! That's like saying Russia became Germany in WWII because they took a few cities. There was war between them, make no doubt about that, but as far as ruling, there is no proof of that and no historian would agree with you. There's no archeological evidence to support this.

Also, please give me evidence of how there was not a Jewish state from the year 1200 to 720 BCE. Egypt was not in rule at that time. Or did King David and Solomon never exist?

Egypt's New Kingdom period ended around 1080 BC; after that, Egypt's power quickly declined. It's no coincidence, then, that as Egypt waned, Israel came to power in Palestine. The widely accepted dates for King David, the second king of Israel, were from 1000 BC to about 970 BC. The Israelites carved out a (relatively small) sphere of influence in Palestine for a couple of hundred years, until the Assyrians came along and (according to the Bible) wiped out about 80% of the Israelites (killed or assimilated). The southern kingdom of Judah held on to its independence until 586 BC, when the Chaldeans conquered Jerusalem.

Israel tried its hand at independence a number of times thereafter with only limited success. The Persians, Greeks, and Romans ruled Palestine with brief periods of independence in between (most notably the century of independence that began with the Maccabean revolt in 168 BC, ending when the Romans conquered Jerusalem in 63 BC). After a number of failed revolts, the Romans banished the Jews from Jerusalem in AD 135.

So Israel was "there" all along - sometimes independent, sometimes subjugated. Its greatest period were the years of the unified kingdom from around 1000 BC - 930 BC.

The area under struggle now was inhabited by so many peoples .... and during some times more than one nation shared that land

You should know that the Israeli existance on the land before the Kingdom of Isreal was declared by the first Israeli king 'Shaol' ... Abraham lived there very long before that incident (that's written in Quran too).

Abraham then Isaac then Jacob the the 12 tribes who moved afterwards to Egypt and lived there for 400 years as slaves and then went out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses.

the journey back to the land took 40 years in Sinai because God did'nt want the generation who lived the Exodus see the land but their children.

They finally made it to the land and divided it over the twelve tribes and lived there for a very long time but there were struggles between them and the neighbourhood (who were'nt arabs by the way... the arabs came far later after that era).

The kingdom began as I told you above and the second King was David then Solomon then their descenders (as written in Quran also)

The Israelies were destroyed and taken as salves by the Babilonyans and the Ashuryans and that lasted for 70 years.

After they came back to the land ... they spent 300 years then the Greeks invaded then the Romans followed and through the Roman invasion, Jesus Christ was born and told them of the final destruction of their temple but they did'nt believe, however, the temple was destructed in the year 70 by the Emperor Titus and afterwards, the Jews left the land and spread all over the world.

Who said that Egypt ruled that land ever ... Sinai was always the eastern door to Egypt not Palastine ... maybe the pharaos used the land for extarcting ores and getting wood and such things for building their civilization but they didn't actually ruled that land.

The Bible does mention the Israelites being ruled by Egypt. (Remember the story with Pharroh, Mosses and the plagues sent by God)? However, God delivered them out of Egypt and into the "Promised Land" which was known as Caanan around 1446 B.C. Which soon became Israel.

The territory which was then ruled by Egypt is not the territory where Israel occupies today. Palestine that we know today did not even exist then.

Hi Elliott, you ask an interesting question, Israel was first a person not a nation. His name was Jacob first which means supplanter or deceiver, he had a vision at night of angels ascending and descending a ladder into heaven, his brother Esau was hot on his heels for revenge because Jacob had just tricked his father Isaac out of his birthright. Jacob wrestles with God and is blessed for the effort. His name is changed to Israel which has two meanings, prince of God and rule with God. Jacob, (Israel) has twelve sons, Joseph is sold into slavery and ends up in Egypt and is used by God to save Egypt but sadly dies in Egypt. Jacobs descendents are slaves to Raamses and the rest is history, that slavery is ended by the plagues and the destruction of the Egyptian army in the Red sea. The Jews have been under bondage all through history, up through the Babylonians under King Neb, Beltshazzar, Medes, Persians, Romans, Germans, and are a free nation today to be slaves again to the antichrist which will come. Jesus Christ will return and save them in the end times. Don't leave this earth without Him! billy

History of ancient Israel and Judah at http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_ancient_Israel_and_Judah
History of ancient Palestine

As you will note it is a complicated past with the land changing hands of many. Both sides see this land as their own and yet, one brother should not rise up and destroy another. We will have to find away to live together without hatred, with understanding, and in peace. Otherwise, humanity is doomed regardless of what anyone believes.

To Sean T,
Have you read Bible? If you were Christian. Who killed Christ (peace upon him)? Muslims too? (Are they Muslim at that time).
The answer, as read as in Bible : The Jews ( Israeli ).
So stop marking Islam as terrorist and read more history before you jump into conclusion.
The Palestine, Lebanese and the rest part of the world which connected by Islam are blamed for terrorism. Like the theft and beggar story. The theft is granted to get what he/she wants but the beggar is blamed for begging, terrorist for self defense and live in place where the theft is work out. That the real world for the muslim today. But not US or Israeli, if you touch an inch soil or bomb one of her tower or buliding, they have the right given by UN for self defense of their soverignity. Good job Kofi Annan!

There was no Israel state in BC or now, they are faked by Jews to create their phantom patent to make new map of West Asia. Israel is the name of blessing tribe of Allah since Jacob era to Moses era. But this tribe is always make trouble and failed to obey all the rules of god. That why Israel is condemn until now not of the curse mostly, but their habits and thoughts.
The christian is always say the know what Quran said. But they never read Bible and the say the know Bible very well eventhough their priest read for them in Sunday.

there is a huge gap in time between 1200 bc and Assyrians ruling the area - just to point out one of the many flaws your argument has - pretty funny dude and pretty lame.

What's with all you terrorist apologists that think Palestine is the victim here???

They are nothing but a bunch of Islamic terrorists who's professed goal is to kill every "infidel" on this planet, specifically Israelis and Americans. How can any rational thinking human being support this???

Stop being aggressively ignorant and stop believing that Islamic culture is a victim of OUR culture. Radical Islamism today is nothing but a new form of Nazism.
