Euthanasia is murder. As a doctor, they are a professional; being a doctor is what they do, but it is not who they are. If they are Christian, their faith is who they are, which should immediately answer the above question. Euthanasia is murder under a pretty, fancy name. It is basically saying that people are the ones that decide when they die and how they die, that the life they have belongs to them and they own it. This is incorrect. The life they have does not belong to them. It belongs to God. He created life, and He gave them life. It is not ours to destroy when we think so. We are stewards of the life God gave us, and must take care of it; we do not own it and do not have the right to take it.

God bless.

Well, how about using common sense. If I was dieing from painful cancer, why would I want to stick around here when I could be on the other side with the Lord? It should be my own decision and no one else. If I ask you to help me cross over, you should be lawfully allowed to help me.

Always respect anothers wishes. No two people see things the same way and that is the way things will always be so allow all to be as they wish to be.

the hipocratic oath states that first I shall do no harm. Killing somebody is doing harm. There's no debate.

Religiously speaking it's somewhere between suicide and murder which are BOTH wrong. So again, no debate.

Conclusion? WRONG.

My opinion... If someone wants to take their life, thats up to them. Why should they put that up to a doctor?
