If Jesus died for the sins of earthlings, who do you believe died for the sins of those on other planets?
Or do you believe that no life exists on other planets.
If not, then why did God bother to create them?

"If life were to be found on a planet, then it would also have been contaminated by original sin and would require salvation." - Piero Coda, theology professor in Rome, in a statement to the Vatican, as reported by Ecumenical News International

I think it'd be funny if they came and already had their own religion and were much more powerfull and smarter than us. What would the Christians do? I imagine they'd just pray and say god works in mysterious ways...just like they always do when faced with something that contradicts their beliefs.

If they failed like Adam and Eve did and brought sin into their planet I'm sure he would work out a way of salvation for them. Sin is in the blood, not in the planets air. That's why Jesus had to shed blood. I'm sure as big and powerful as God is there is life on other planets. I just hope they didn't make the same mistakes this one did.

What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you their is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask an athiest How the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy and every star, also the ones still forming. Ask how the earth has one set speed it to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiest just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Where did the Ocean come from then?. Also ask them to get an empty glass and set it up in their house and go back to the glass 20 or 30 years or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares them. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it. I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have to many questians to explain themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I lose nothing but if there is and I've argued to people he isn't then I would lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God?

The Bible says that Adam and Eve sinned and fell from innocence and grace. It doesn't say that the people on any other planet sinned. If they didn't sin, then they don't need someone to die for their sins. "Original sin" is a distinctly Catholic notion to which I do not adhere (I'm a Protestant). Original sin taints the concept of the nature of Jesus, and original sin opens the door to a philosophy that Jesus' sacrifice was insufficient for the forgiveness of sin. Hence, if Jesus' sacrifice is not sufficient, a person must work their way to salvation (penance, pilgrimages, etc.), an idea which goes against the Bibilcal principle of righteousness by faith (thank you Martin Luther!).

My understanding is that Earth is the only planet that failed the test (the test being to resist the temptation to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil). Even if there were more than one planet with sinners, Jesus' sacrifice would still be sufficient for everyone. Think about it--wouldn't it be odd to say "Yes, Jesus died for the sins of others, but only for the first trillion or so," or "only from one particular planet or part of the universe"?

Jesus dies for the sins of humans. Your question is alot like askingn "did Jesus die for the sins of animals?" The answer is no. If you're going to question then why God created them, I think the most evident answer is for man to enjoy! As far as life on other plantes and if they exsit and if so why are they here? If they do exsit they probably do because this question plagues man and keeps him invinting things to discover the answer.

He died for mans sin and did away with blood sacrifice in the temple and brought us a new covenant. We take communion in his name the bread is body the wine is his blood. He didn't die to save the earth but to save the people whom believed in him. The gentiles have the heavenly hope. Heaven on earth. He fulfilled the prophecies he went to the cross as a humble lamb but when he returns he will come back as an avenging angel and he will establish his kingdom on earth. Final!

It's your flesh that you will smell. If you continue to act as if you are an idiot all you have to do is use the common since you were born with and read the bible along with the history books and you will come to see that everything lines up perfectly. I hope you don't continue in your foolish ways and find out the truth about God.
