if so then why?
do you think that your heavenly reward is going to be greater?
or is it because you think you are a nice person?

No. I don't want to save souls from going to Hell. Actually I wish everyone had a chance to go there. They would see it isn't such a bad place. Hell does have ice water. A snowball does have a chance there. And you know it isn't so easy to get there either. We had to stop and ask directions three times!

coal chamber,
"do you want to save souls from going to hell?"
Of course I want to be used by God to save souls. You knew that Christians have a habit of thinking that way. But I did not approach you like a "rapist" in a mall. I would just let your a$s go to Hell.

"if so then why?"
Because God uses some people to spread the message of salvation. It's not rocket science.

Hey, you delievered the "I don't wanna" speech already. Shouldn't you be trying to waste your time somewhere else?

"do you think that your heavenly reward is going to be greater?"
Not by talking to you. Anything I do in faith that God inspires has eternal reward. You don't believe that so what do you care?

"or is it because you think you are a nice person?"
I don't have any doubt's. I am not a nice person. I am Christian who doesn't mind telling people off.

I know the awesomeness of what one receives when they are saved through Christ.....and I wish that joy for all........It's like finding a treasure that is so great that you have to tell everyone about it.....it's nothing about heavenly rewards or being 'nice'.....it's about my calling from God.....in the Bible every Christian is called through the Great Commission to go out into all the world and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ

I consider myself a helpful person. I am a volunteer with Special Olympics. I help out with my church youth group. I help my friends and family anytime I can. I don't do it because I'm thinking about a heavenly reward. I am helpful because I choose to be. I try to save the souls of others because that is part of my Christian believes. Jesus taught His disciples to be evangelists (to spread the Word of God to others). My life is a reflection of my belief in the Lord, so I follow His teachings.

well, i cant save souls from going to hell...i dont have that kind of power...only God does...however i do wanna lead people to Christ so that they wont have to go thru an eternity of pain and torment...why? because i have Christ's love...not power...love...and i believe in His word....especially when it says...

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward *us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."(2 Peter 3:9)

as far as rewards go...no theydont save you...(Ephesians 2:8-10)

However Jesus said in Revelation 22:12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work."

and i dont think im that great of a person...
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."(Romans 3:23)

i believe what the Bible says...no questions asked...hope it helps...

I would like to set off a light bomb in hell, make it discharge right in the center of all the writhing and agony with blinding, yet cool white light that would last for some time, and remind all the lost souls that there was something different than constant darkness and despair. and heat.

I think that it is my duty as a christian and my love for Christ that I would want to lead as many people as I can to Christ's love. No, I do not think that my reward will be "greater" in heaven. I do it because I want to and I feel the Lord wants me to. I want everyone to feel as great as I do.

No ! It is because of my love for Jesus and the Father. He told us to go out into the world and save people. God ask us to love one another as we love our selves. I hate to see one person go to hell if with Gods help I can save them. I do not want Saten to have one person. And most of all I am trying to save all my family.I wish I could make you understand how much I love our Lord. If you could see and understand you would know the answer to your question. So I try to save peoiple for the love I have for God.

I'm agnostic...

But if God really told me a sure fire way to save souls... to make people happier in life and to go to a place of everlasting happiness..

I would do it..even if I didn't go.

Because God told us to tell everyone The Good News! It is the Great Commission-our duty- and if we fail to do it, we disobey our God.
We are not to force it on anyone, just share it and allow the other to make the decision themselves. "Planting seeds"....some may grow, some may not. Some may grow and then die out....
