God is invisible and cannot be heard
John 1:18/ John 5:37/ Ex 33:20/ 1 Tim 6:16

Its seems odd, was the Bible corrupted or is it still god words?

If god loved everyone why would he throw people he loved in Hell forever? Thats like saying, "I love you son, but I'm gonna have to let you burn forever."

It just doesnt make sense

2. Why did the priest kiss the tablecloth?
3. What was the gold shiny book he had?
4. Where were the alter boys??
5. The preist poured some holy water (I think) into the wine before communion. Why?
6. How did everyone know what to say at all the appropriate times??

all the hypocrites on here contradict everything their religion stands for by their words? Instead of love, they preach hatred.

Jesus never lifted a hand to defend himself, even as the Roman soldiers came for him. Christ also prevented his disciples from defending him from the Romans, even though he knew it would cost him his life. "Turn the other cheek", and "blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth" are other quotes I hear espoused by Quakers, Hutterites, and other pacificist Christians. So to be in the true spirit of Christ, should one avoid participating in or supporting violence, even in defense of one's nation or people? Does this contradict the Old Testament adage of "an eye for an eye..."?

I've friends on all ends of the religious and political spectrums, and this question NEVER fails to rile us up. :)

He was a few years older than me and my parents loved him limitlessly. They had OKed my marriage to him. I had already been appeared to by Jesus and healed of cancer, He was in law school and so passionate. One night he interfered with two men who were harming two girls. There was a struggle and he was shot. A few hours alter he died. I had never been with him sexually. He respected me to the end. I thought I would die from grief but one day the Lord Jesus appeared 2 me in a vision and brought him to me. This happened several times. I dont want ur pity. But, as I went to his grave I was not in despair anymore. i knew this was not the end..but the beginning of 4ever for him becoz I had seen him with the ressurected Jesus. Are you going to tell me this was all my imagination ? You are going to tell me my mind manufactured this ? Will you tell me that I have no hope and he is just rotting in the grave ? You really think this is the ned of all things ? or does love reach beyond the grave ?

I know Christisans believe that Jesus Christ will come to this world before dooms day and will lead a war called Armageddon.What will happen if we see the Jesus Christ does not look like his image or sculptures we see.(I think all of them are similar),How can we be sure he is the christ we are waiting for? I am a muslim. From my religious books I had learnt that he will come in Damascus from the sky.What is the christians believe about this?

Christmas is a pagen holiday why do Christians claim its religious.

The irony of Christmas is that its origins are actually pagan, and completely antithetical to Jesus who deplored pagan practises.

Christians adopted the pagan German holiday of Yule which took place on December 25th. "Yule" and "Yuletide" are the archaic terms for Christmas, and this is the meaning of "Yule" in both the full Oxford English Dictionary and the Concise Oxford Dictionary. In many foreign languages, people still use the word "Yule" as opposed to Christmas.

How can there be a heaven when there's a hell? How can anybody have any sort of paradise while their fellow humans suffer eternally? I sometimes have trouble sleeping at night when I think about one of those soldiers in Iraq having his head sawed off. It keeps me up at night, the ugly thought of someone else suffering to that extent. How could anybody be so heartless as to sit atop a throne in paradise and not dwell on those who are tortured for not believing the bible? It's horrible to think any Christian could imagine forgetting their loved ones here on earth so that they can enjoy their eternal paradise in peace.

How horrible heaven must be, huh?

and his lie will send you to hell and hell is a very real place.you will not get virgins and thats is a big lie also.its satan who has you to believe that you will live forever if you bow down to this god called allah.thats a false god and satan has you blinded by this lie and you will fall into hell and wont beable to get out.if you get 72 virgins when you die what do the woman who die for this false god allah what do they get 72 virgins also to get pounce on,sorry but you have been lied to and its sad to see so many beautiful people of this planet die and go to hell by this lie. I'm wondering about a priest I encountered once.
We were at a christian catholic church.
I told him that I didn't think that the wine and wafers were really the body and blood of jesus.
He screamed at me that I was going to burn in the eternal fires of hell, and I would have to watch in torment as everyone I loved had better lives in heaven because of my absence.
I was 12.
What kind of a priest says things like that to a 12 year old girl, who was simply skeptical about something so simple?
