HAVE NO IDEA! LETS LET GOD DECIDE? OK?

2006-08-13 18:01:34 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 4 3

Well, I've watched Benny a few times on TV with my mouth hanging open in utter shock and horror at his act. And after reading that article, I have to say I believe the author sounds a lot more credible than Benny Hinn.
I don't think we should just say "let God deside". Sure, God will judge him, but we need to wise up and stop getting our doctrines from scam artists. Spread the word. Hinn's a fraud.

There was a special on 20/20 exposing Benny Hinn. You may want to check that out.

I am a Christian. We must remember never to confuse God with man. Some people begin to follow preachers and develop a faith in them as if the preachers are God.

We all fall short of the glory of God. No one is free of all sin. Before you condemn Benny Hinn, pray for him and his many misled followers. At the same time, we must be knowledgeable of who we follow and what preachings we choose to believe whole heatedly. Be sure to read your Bible and compare all pastor's teaching to text, when you can, for your own personal understanding, knowledge, and spiritual growth.

I didn't click the link (blocked here at work) but I have no faith in Benny Hinn. I don't believe anyone here on earth today can heal someone. He gives true Christians a bad name. He is gonna pay for all the false doctrine he has spewed big time. I really feel bad for him. Maybe one day he will change.

Benny Hinn is a liar and a fake. I already knew all this. It's definitely true.

Benny Hinn....Benny Hill...it's all ridiculous. But I think maybe Benny Hinn is funnier.

Let us suppose God / Jesus exist. And let us suppose they invoked healing powers to the world through a chosen man, such as Hinn and other evangelists proport.

Would this chosen individual be of the type to use the gift to attain wealth and fame (greed and pride) ... or would this individual instead seek out those in need, wanting naught for himself/herself but to share their gift with others?

I've always thought that Benny Hinn was a scam

Benny Hinn is a fraud. Sorry. W5 followed him and watched him spend outrageous amounts of money on luxuries for himself (like his toupee) and spoke to ex employees on revealing his secrets.

I've only watched him once, and I couldn't stop laughing. All I see when I watch characters like this in action is the Steve Martin flick, "Leap of Faith". Only Hinn's conscience never seems to catch up with HIM...

Yes I believe this is true... in fact about 99% of the TV preachers are scam artist... They are in for it for one reason; MONEY...
If you can get them to talk about their financial position, a lot of them pull in millions of dollars for pay checks living in million dollar estates. Isn't there a passage in the bible stating you can't serve God and Money... If you ask these preachers, they reply that God has Blessed them... wrong! They are just good con artists and people fall for it.
