YES, but I don't think their communist government likes christians> I heard that Christians in other parts of the world such as china are heavily opressed and not accepted by those societies. In fact, christians are the most discriminated religion in the world> The truth is that the world hates Christ and his disciples. Satan as ruler of this world is trying his best to destroy Christianity. we should pray for christians around the world. peace.

Yes in 2 forms. The state controlled church that is carefully monitored, controlled and sanitised to suit the government and the underground version which uses un-censored bibles from the west. As to what they fear, I'm not sure, but most communist regimes see a God of any description as a threat to the total control of the state.

There is severe persecution of Christians in a lot of China.
The three-self churches are government controlled churches which are not persecuted as much by the government (but their teachings are restricted to a set of teachings that are approved by the government)... and many of the leaders in the three-self churches are appointed by the government (based on loyalty to the government and its communist teachings, rather than loyalty to Jesus Christ and his teachings).
I pray that this information that I am posting does not endanger anyone in China.

not in most of china there are many persecuted christians in china and they meet secretly you can contact VOICE OF THE MARTYRS for more info , i am not not sure what their government is in fear of....www.persecution.com

i dont know but if i understand right, the chinees bible is much like are own... its not about religion its about power...
