If they are devote enough to their religion to specify themselves Christian, they are maybe too busy with their religion to be prominent artists... Since a large part of the population is Christian of some kind or another, I'm sure there are plenty but not outright proclaiming with their work...

Well speaking as an artist myself I can give you my interpretation. I personally believe that to be an artist, you have to question yourself, the world around you, and the very idea of life itself. Most religions are against thinking of this nature therefore they lack many of the people that will become artists.

Christians are inclined to be more humble and low profile or less boastful than others.

They may be some great artists, performers that are Christians, but they keep their religious info quiet. If they are working to please God, please and love others, we will see their light and identify them as Christians through their actions and words.
