Why does the islamic religion proclaim to be a peaceful one?

After living amoung for the first part of my life, i can easily remember how brass *** back-wards there religion is.

I really pray for Isreal to really kick there ***. These muslim soliders always hide behind a mask/cover while useing innoscent woman and children. Pretend to be really brave man when they when they cut the head off of a construction worker.....A religion of peace my ***.

Religious principles and the actions of its followers are two different things. Never judge a religion by its followers, but rather its scriptures. Many of these so-called "Muslim Jihadists" are ignorant and being pumped full of hatred by ways of lies, misinterpretations of Scriptures and Hadiths, etc.

And why does you damn Christians proclaim to be a peaceful one?First,70,000 Muslim and Jews were killed during the crusade.Almost all of the native American's were killed by Christian when they conquer America.All the Bosnian's Muslim's captive were cut of their finger by the Christian Serb's untill only 3 finger is left to remember the Christian trinity sign.Israel is the one is hiding behind a human mask. They conquer Palestine without talking to the Arab League first.They killed all the people that once protect them under Islamic rule from the crusader's.
1.Muslim doesn't flush the bible in the toilet bowl like you Christian's did to Quran in Guantanamo bay.

2.Muslim doesn't teach hatred to Christian's like the Jew's were teaching hatred to Arab.(Although some denies it)

3.We Muslim's didn't go around and put pig head in church like you all did to our mosque.

4.Muslim doesn't goes around and shoot the people in the church that are praying like the Jew's that shoot Muslim that are praying in the mosque.(Read the TIME magazine)

5.We Muslim's doesn't tear the bible and let it to be step by the people that walk around the street like the Jew's did to the Quran.

6.When a Muslim is violated,he is protect under racism while when the Jew's are insulted,they are protect under anti semetic.

7.When Islam is insulted,it's no harm to people but when Jew's are insulted,people who do so are require to apologize to the public quickly.
Now we could see these double standard that exist among those so called democratic American's.

2. There's a word called "extremist." Learn its definition.

And yeah, Israel is certainly justified in its killing of over 10 times more people than Hezbollah has killed, including innocent women and children. Of course, if they're using the weapons WE provided them with, then they couldn't go wrong. After all, WE never do.

jihad is a war against one's own self, meaning u fight to remove the faults in u. it is not killin in some innocent people in some remote areas. those people who kill in the name of islam are false muslims. and their efforts to win over GOD's blessings are futile. they will pay for their sins.

and sorry u are not as peaceful as u proclaim to be. if u were then u would be as patient and tolerant as jesus - pbuh. for he taught patience and endurance, not bad mouthing.

Gee, seems like there's something ELSE that Islam and Christianity have in common. All followers read holy texts that direct them to peaceful relations with others, yet they all generally IGNORE Holy Writ, and blow stuff up anyway...

You should not use the actions of others to close your mind to God. In the end we are only responsible for our own actions. The Jihadists you refer to are not true Muslims just as the people who blow up Abortion clinics are not true Christians. Pray to God for forgiveness, humility and wisdom...not to bring violence on anyone.
