Look around you and you will see that the more developed a country , the better the longevity of its people, the higher its literacy, the greater the level of its scientific achievements, the lesser its infant mortality ....the more chance it has that its people are less religious. Of course mankind does have the propensity of regressing back time and again, but in the long run, the inverse relationship between development and religion holds true.
Based on this I would say that the religion of the future would be - "No religion".

It looks like the powers that be will use the media to define the next generation of religion. We are all information junkies and with all of the hoopla out there, we will inevitably be assimilated into whatever the governement controlled media decides for us. Tollerance is no longer a virtue.

Seriously? Glitzy. Same theologies, but different presentation. Christian ministries are already starting to look at attracting youth with programs that rival discos and other forms of entertainment. Churches will start running more like businesses with the same analysis and design methods common in the larger corporations.

Look around you for someone who acts like Pat Robertson, writes like L. Ron Hubbard, and has a pompadour the size of the Texas panhandle.

There is a lot of hate in this world, and a lot of
people use God and Religion as a means to hate and
feel justified in doing so.
