In 2000, I thought you were coming Jesus. I waited and waited but you never came. I even protected myself from the coming destruction by building a well stocked bunker. Are you coming now, Jesus? I served you soooo well in Alcoholics Anonymous that I should be amongst the "chosen ones". I tried so desperately to use the brain that you gave to change my behaviour and stay the affects of demon booze, but that brain was no good! I am waiting Jesus, take me home! Take me home NOW! Take me to my friends Bob, Bill, and my most missed, CLANCY!

Baaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrfffffffffff!!!

1+-1=0 Am I wrong?

Possiblity God exists+Possibility God doesn't exist= 0 God does not exist. Am I wrong?

When God showed his way (perfection) simultaneously, anything other than his way is sin (imperfection). <<< We all know there is but no perfection. So God cannot exist, for perfection does not exist.

God is an equation ... We go from left to right, up and down, while never knowing which is which.

*Look at your left hand (perfection does not exist), look at your right hand (perfection exists), now place them together (they cancel each other out). Am I wrong? (left hand) Am I right? (right hand), (place them together) Am I both? (take them apart) Am I neither?
Am I Good, am I evil, am I both, am I neither? <<< God's test on man and my gift to you.

Of all the world major theistic religions, don't they all believe in essentially the same God? The surrounding beliefs may be different, but aren't the core ones the same?

To those who tell me I am on drugs or I am ignorant, can you disprove the existence of a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Certainly my beliefs are valid. Why don't you respect them?

Paschal's Wager in fact teaches we should investigate the possibility of the existence of a Flying Spaghetti Monster, if I am right when I die something good will happen. I go to heaven with a Beer Volancoe and a Stripper Factory.

I just wouldn't anyone to be wrong and end up in the other place where the stripper have venereal disease.

Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

Take single verses out of the Qu'ran and to slander islam, when there are verses from(the new testament at that) the bible that make you look just as bad.

Faith and fact can no longer coexist faith is the belief in something regardless of fact and fact is the truth proven by evidence. So do you have a faith that can't be changed by anything despite how ridicules you sound or do you believe in what can be proven by facts and evidence and so allowing your opinion to change as more new facts are discovered. I know which side I'm on and it's the side of truth and science the side of fact.

Even Jesus failed. When he failed to fight back, he crucified himself. To save us, he died. In order for people to live, they must kill. In order for people to live they must die. In order to live, you must suffer by somebody else's hands or live knowing that you are hurting somebody else. Am I wrong? Am I right? Am I both? Am I neither?

From what I have been able to gather from this site, the majority of you seem to have been raised with a religion initially. I am one of what must be a smaller percent that was born and raised a non believer. So I suppose I am lucky that my parents are no different, likewise most of our family, and I never had to deal with telling my family I no longer believed.

I was just wondering how did the rest of you deal with that, "coming out" about it, so to speak, if your family is religious?

I want to thank you for your answeres. But I had stated my question to where most of yous thought I had been praying for my cat for two weeks. What I meant Is that I had been praying about a very serious problem for two weeks and on top of that I found out from the vet. my beloved cat of 14yrs may be dying of cancer. My prayers were and still are over what has happened two weeks ago and now of course I will pray for my cat as well. I am sorry I have been so hurt over what someone has done to me that I wasn't thinking clearly in writing my question. I am not so norrow minded to not understand that my lovely pet is beyond death as his brother died just last June at 14yrs old. Thank you,and am sorry for any misunderstandings.

I have known God for as long as I can remember. I have been angry and bitter at Him but never have I doubted He was real. I have spoken and heard from Him my whole life. When I was a child I would often speak to Him and even sing to Him. I do the same today. My faith IS my life. It is the table on which my life rests. How do you feel?
Peace Be With You,

I went to one of those "mega-churches" for many years. Everyone always babbled about having a "relationship" with God. I gave it a go.

Heres what 'a relationship with God', in reality, amounts to.

If you are insane (manic, psychtz, etc..), you claim to actually hear his voice.

If you are not mentally ill, then its always the 'tea-leaf' sequence. Example, the thunderstorm came 5 minutes after you were thinking about whether God wants you to dump you girlfriend...so you did.

Under the tea-leaf sequence, you feel perfectly justified in claiming that God is talking to you and thus tell people you have a neat relationship.

So it amounts to mental illness or selective interpretation of normal coincidence.

What I say is true...and you know it on some level...conscious hopefully...but sunconscious otherwise. Why did God let you read this anyway?

That guy must be the smartest dude in the terror cell. Train every one else to wear the bomb belt, and never wear it himself.

we all should know by now unless your just starting 9Th grade that there is no mention of this in the Constitution at all or the bill of rights. it comes from a letter Jefferson wrote to a friend and this is what it said." Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State."

as u can see here is isn't worried that church is going to take over. but what is happening today the fact that the supreme court and radical atheist groups are using the government to get rid of god off of all government things.

I have noticed that a lot of answers on here say “Jesus is the only way to heaven”, “There is only one way to heaven” or something else of that nature. From this, I am getting that Heaven is one place. That it is a location, like Texas or Las Vegas. A lot of people like Texas or Las Vegas and enjoy being there because of what those places have. There are also a lot of people who neither like Texas nor Las Vegas for the same reason. With that being said, what if someone died and went to heaven, but did not like it there because of the lack of things that make him or her happy?
