when we sleep in our beds do are guardian angels watch us sleep? what do they do , do they follow us around all day protecting us and watching us? isnt that what the holy spirit does too?

That's a good question. I've always wondered that as well. I think guardian angel is just another word for the holy spirit, to be honest. But at the same time, I do know that people who I love and have lost are watching over me too. I think that when we pray to be watched over by angels, that there are special protecting angels. It's a toughie though, but I've always thought if of one of those things I'll wait to ask God about when I get to the other side.

I believe that we have guardian angels who watch over us all the time. I have had many incidences in my life that I know my guardian angel has been watching over me. One example occurred several years ago when I was driving home from work on a rainy night, with not very good visibility and a deer jumped in front of my vehicle. She actually landed on the front of my car, breaking the car radiator and pushing the engine back toward the passenger compartment. I unfortunately killed the deer, even though I completely locked up my brakes trying to avoid her. All of the air bags went off, the deers hooves went into the windshield when she hit, I can vividly remember feeling very calm, in the moment and knew I was going to be fine. I did hear a voice to my right saying that I was going to be fine. When I concentrated on the voice later, I can hear the words in my deceased father-in-laws voice. He and I had a great relationship, and he always treated me like a beloved daughter. Since he had passed, I have always felt that he was one of my special angels in heaven. When the police showed up and the tow-truck driver; none of them could understand how I got the car safely off of the road, the radiator was totally split and the drive belts were not even attached to the engine. I drove the car on the side of the road for close to half a mile to get it into a gas station parking lot. The police and the tow truck driver could not believe that I stopped the car, put it in park, turned the key and just got out. My eyeglasses were slightly bent from the airbag, other than that I was only a bit achy for a few days from holding onto the steering wheel so tightly and tensing up during the impact. The body shop owner, where the car was towed to could not believe that I walked into his office the following Monday morning to take care of the paperwork for the insurance company. The car was totaled and no one could believe that I was able to open the door and walk away. There was damage to the drivers door from where the deer had hit as she rolled off of the hood. Technically, I should have been trapped and since I am a petite woman of 5'2", I did not have the upper body strength, from the position I was in; to push the door open on my own. Guardian Angel and a Miracle. I am truly Blessed by God and His Angels.

Yes, Virginia....There are Spirit Guides. Some of us have more
angles then others. God says there are angles in Heaven. And
that they can be messengers. I could have died so many times
but I am still here. That is because I pray to God & my angels to
watch over me and protect me. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here.
Some people don't want to believe we have angels. But we do.
There is a liitle girl, who saw her angel sitting at the end of her
bed, watching her sleep. This same child sees angels often.

God has sent a guardian angel to watch over each and everyone of us. Their purpose is to try to maintain us in god's light and grace. When we sleep is a perfect time for satan to try to decieve our thoughts, but our guardian angels are there to defend us from the evil ones. The Holy Spirit, is the spirit of god, which is in baptized christians. The holy spirit helps us to understand good and evil, and also to know that Jesus is lord and savior, the holy spirit consecrates us in the truth>

Most everyone is born with no less than 1 guardian. They are with you always no matter where you go, but it's not actually their job to keep all harm from you.
If harm was never supposed to happen to you then it never will.
Your spirit guide is the one who brings the information we need from the other side, but most of us have a very hard time hearing them, or knowing when they are speaking. The Spirit, from what I understand is inside of you? I'm not sure because I was told I never had it since I never spoke in tongues. I didn't feel bad about that though, because I know I'm valuable and loved.

i don't personally believe in guardian angels .. well not the angel part
i would say i do believe in spirit guardians
these are spirit who are assigned to us throughout life , not to protect us or watch over us
but to guide us gently , as we have free will this life is ours so they would not make decisions for us
to give us gentle nudges in the right direction .. although ultimately it is up to us to take the hint or not lol

Lady, if that were true, then the japanese would be kicking our asses about that belief.
But I guess, if you believe so, then it's reasonable. Some people tend to believe that a relative or relation that they had a strong emotional attatchment to in their previous life is watching over a person for their well being. It's God's way of giving them the chance to view us outside of heaven.
....I'm not saying you're wrong, but if this is what you believe, then I'll submit.
