I think it's hard to say which is the first since there've been highly organized religions throughout the history of mankind. Ancient religions such as Shamanism and Druidism date back to pre-history.
But here's some interesting information:
The Shang Dynasty of China (about 2000 B.C.) practiced a form of paganism that worshiped a variety of different gods and also a higher god who ruled over the other gods, called Shang-Ti.
The earliest evidence we have for religious faith in Africa is from Egypt, where by 3000 BC people were already worshipping Isis, Osiris, Ra, and the Amen. Further south, the Kushites seem to have also worshipped these gods.
In the fourth millennium B.C., the religious system of ancient Mesopotamia, which is the earliest religion of which we have explicit knowledge, was exclusively polytheistic and anthropomorphic. The ancient inhabitants of the Fertile Crescent believed in a multiplicity of gods and goddesses, more intelligent and more powerful than humans, but certainly created in our image.
Zoroastianism is an ancient religion that originated in Iran based on the teachings of Zoroaster.
Founded in the 6th century BC, it influenced the monotheistic religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

"Hinduism is generally considered to be the oldest religion still being practiced today. This ancient religion was born when the Aryan peoples migrated to Northern India and first put their religious tradition into writing. The texts they created are the Vedas, which were written around 1,500 B.C.E. (before common era) and have greatly influenced Indian culture ever since.
Several other religions are almost as old as Hinduism. Judaism traces its roots back to the patriarch Abraham, who lived around 1,800 B.C.E. While the Jewish people are descended from Abraham, it was Moses who first recorded the Torah, the Jewish holy text, in 1,400 B.C.E. Most sources consider the date of the Torah as the beginning of Judaism.
Zoroastrianism is sometimes called the world's oldest prophetic religion. It's certainly one of the earliest religions founded by one person. Scholars are not certain when the founding prophet Zarathustra actually lived. Some believe Zarathustra lived in the 6th century B.C.E., while others trace his writings to the 14th or 13th centuries B.C.E.
India has been a veritable cradle for world religions -- in addition to Hinduism, both Jainism and Buddhism originated in India. The first of Jainism's sacred lords, called a Tirthankara, lived in the 8th century B.C.E. The last of these lords was Mahavir, who lived in the 5th century B.C.E. and was a key figure in spreading the religion. The philosophical teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, spread around Asia after his death in 483 B.C.E.
Oddly enough, the two religions that dominate the world today are relative newcomers to the spiritual scene. Christianity began with the teachings of Jesus Christ around 30 C.E., and Islam started in 610 C.E. with the prophet Muhammad's revelation."

Hinduism is the oldest religion on record in the world.
Lord Vishnu, the sustainer of the Sanatan dharma has come to earth in various forms.
Half man and half animal, fish, tortoise, etc.
This record means the HIndu Lord Vishnu has reincarnated on the earth several times in different forms to save the prevailing species from disaster.
Dinosaur skeletons prove that there were other species roaming the earth and Lord Vishnu's recorded reincarnations are also in forms of other species.
This logically proves that hinduism is the oldest religion on earth.
It was well organised and functional until Christianity, Islam and budhhism came into india and started destroying it as it did not work for them.
In fact, there are complaints at United Nations level of the atrocities in indian society, which have come about due to the infiltration of other religions and the destruction of hindu values.
One example is child marriages. There is no where in history of hinduism the mention of child marriages. Islam has ruled india for until the time of the moghuls and child marriages are a part of their religion because the prophet of islam in his fifties married a child of six years old. (This is just an example of the statement)
Islam is trying to destroy hinduism even today. I dont know if they will succeed. I doubt it. But their threatening ways prove that they are still trying to break the spirit of hinduism.

Babylonian religions are of the oldest.
And some of them exist today.
One part that carried through is the oblesk.
It was used to signifiy Nimrod's male organ and defiance to God.
Today, it is found on top of churches.
Also some of the Easter ritual celebration acts are from Babylon.

Right after the invention of pockets. As soon as we got pockets the smart guys figured out a simple way of filling them. They started religion and let the rest of the people know that God needed sacrifices (pocket filler) to be happy. Its been around ever since. If you don't believe me, look up Scientology, I rest my case.

Probably in predynastic Egypt. They were polytheistic, but they did have priests, costumes, etc. Prior to that, there is less written record. Doesn't mean that they didn't have it, only that if they did, we don't know as much about it
