I want to thank you for your answeres. But I had stated my question to where most of yous thought I had been praying for my cat for two weeks. What I meant Is that I had been praying about a very serious problem for two weeks and on top of that I found out from the vet. my beloved cat of 14yrs may be dying of cancer. My prayers were and still are over what has happened two weeks ago and now of course I will pray for my cat as well. I am sorry I have been so hurt over what someone has done to me that I wasn't thinking clearly in writing my question. I am not so norrow minded to not understand that my lovely pet is beyond death as his brother died just last June at 14yrs old. Thank you,and am sorry for any misunderstandings.

You need to get someone else to pray for you.... you sound pretty stressed ... a stressed person isn't resting in God's peace.
Learn to rest, relax --- do a fast for the Lord and have other Christians pray for you and whatever your need or hurt is.... The Lord maybe carrying you ....
cast down any false guilt or thoughts that He doesn't care - renew your mind on His Word.... trust Him, really trust Him.... you wouldn't operate in doubt and fear if you were trusting Him to sustain you during trials....the scriptures tell us we will endure hardships and it has nothing to do with us being so good that nothing bad will happen to us. (Remember Job? read through that book of the bible again).

He hears, and will answer.
It often is not what you expect or want.
I don't like it either, but that is the way he is.
He gives us what we need, not what we like or want.

Its like being 9 and getting shirts for Christmas, and the big transformer all 8 of them, that for a month you begged for, dreamed of, and could not thing of anything else didn't come. but you did get some toys but not he big one the one that would have made you the envy of the whole school wasn't. oh well next year!

I know this is no comfort, but it is the truth.

Have you ever heard the song,"Thank God For Unanswered Prayers?" If he doesn't answer your prayer, he has a reason. Perhaps, He has something better in mind.

I prayed for my mothers life. He took her anyway. I finally realized, he was doing what was best for her. What I wanted was selfish.

I think you will see your pets again. If there aren't any pets in heaven, then I'm not going! Best wishes, and get another cat when you are ready. Your friends would not want you to be unhappy.

Ok.

It really hurts when someone you love is hurting, even if it's not human.

Anyway the short answer to your question is: it's a fiction, an incoherent mass of contradictions.

Take care.

It sounds like you have nothing to be sorry about... I recommend enjoying the time you have left with your cat, whether or not it's dying of cancer.

my dog got sick with hypogleicemia. we had only had him for four days. he was very young (too young to be away from his mother). one day, he got very weak and wouldn't stop sleeping. he wouldn't eat or get up. he had seziures (sorry for my spelling) adn was very sick. at the vet's office, she told us he wasn't going to live. they kept him over night and we went home. i was crying all through the night until i decided to pray. after i prayed it was really odd. i had a feeling of relief and hope, and i stopped crying and slept all through the night. the next morning, the vet called us and said he had lived and he was doing remarkable. he is alive till this day. GOD WILL HEAL OUR LOVED ANIMALS TOO, HE HAD FOR ME. just keep the hope, and let me know how it goes. i'll pray for you :)
