Most cultures have a Hero, who fights a giant. David and Goliath come to mind. Giants can be allegorical for a barbarian society at the gates of the Hero's home. Dragons are similar in mythology, although more subtle. The ArchAngel Michael and Satan battle, much like Hebrew culture battling it's anti-deluvian roots. In a story with a Hero, and a Dragon, the Dragon can be the barbarian roots of the Hero's home.

A book can paint an image of that old dragon. Give it Seven heads, and ten horns, and a mental image of a beast (giant) can symbolize the seventy generations of man to Jesus. Civilization itself assaulted that Hero, on Calvary. Each generation was a vertibrae in the backbone of a continuous society, formed by a serpent at the gates of Eden. That's what a dragon is...

No nation is sacred, no leader infallible, no society righteous...all have their roots in the anti-deluvian mire...they are the Dragon's dogs...

A dragon is a being from the legends of various cultures that have survived into mediaval myths and legends. They feature prominantly in Celtic, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Germanic, and Norse myth but no matter what the culture they were all portrayed as one way: Giant reptilian animals, with or without wings, who were said to possess great wisdom and often guarded treasure. They could be good, evil, or neutral (most times they were neutral).

No one knows where the idea came from though you have some archaeologists and historians who think that they might actually have been dinosaurs. The people of these cultures might have found dinosaur skeletons and well things pretty much went from there.

There are two distinct types with subtypes in each one. There are the dragons in the West that are supposed to be mean and evil, then there are the dragons in the East who are helpful and mostly good. Magic and Dragon's are in the eye of the beholder. Seems these days you have to Watch a Harry Potter movie to see the bad ones and read Oriental philosophy and stories for the good one. I believe Dragons may now be extinct. They still live in my imagination. I have a large collection of them.

Here persons come to mind - Dragon Dog and Dragon Fire.

Originally a dragon is a mythological creature in my childhood books for entertainment.

Later a dragon is the Wilhelm/Baynes I Ching description:

"In China the dragon ... is a symbol of the electrically charged, dynamic, arousing force that manifests itself in the thunderstorm." p. 7

Later it is "...the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan..." - Revelations 20:2

But a dragon remains in my mind an image of a winged reptilian being that breathes fire, has the persona of a wrathful tyrant, whose sleeping quarters is a cave, and a creature with whom I struggled not to sympathize.

Dragons, as described in the Bible, are Satan and his posterity (reptilians). In Genesis 6:1-4, it tells how these reptilian beings came to earth, and inter-bred with human women. These were the Nephilim. That is how royal blood got started. Everyone who is royal blooded is a descendant of these Nephilim. These royal blooded hybrids have been very careful to inbreed with one another throughout history, in order to maintain their genetic purity. They have been kings, queens, and rulers over the common people over the course of human history. They believe that their DNA makes them far superior to us. They presently, clandestinely run this world, and are known as the Illuminati. Their DNA balance of human, and reptilian genes, gives them the ability to "shape-shift" between these two forms. Virtually all major politicians, entertainers, major corporate executives, super rich, super powerful people on earth, are these shape-shifting reptilians. Their ultimate goal is to reduce human population on earth by at least 2/3, and establish their new world order fascist police state, in which everybody will be required to be implanted with a micro-chip (mark of the beast), in order to buy or sell anything.
