Then why would He allow his creations, which are a part of Himself, to suffer in Hell forever?

I've been giving some thought to opening a Christian Strip Club. I think there are a lot of Christian men (and some women) who are just looking for good clean wholesome and legal fun. My plan is to hire only good Christian girls as our dancers. Our show will be a mix of dancing to gospel music and some short preaching and comedy sets. The girls will all be trained to quote scriptures while they are giving lap dances. Instead of just passing a collection plate during the preaching, we'll have the all the dancers walk around and collect dollar bills in their G-strings. For special events, the baptismal can double as a jello wrestling pool. This place should be a blast for the whole family!

Running a strip club in this manner, we'll be serve the lord and save souls, all while employing some of God's greatest creations.

WE are to occupy till the Lord snatches us away like the bible and the Petra song says, then you can have it....at least for the next seven years, till our Lord returns for the third coming and throws you into the eternal deep fry, praise the holy name of Jesus! Remember, God IS love, but it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Angry God! Turn or burn, get right or get left. It's your choice, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! If you feel convicted right now, just ask on yahoo how to be saved and one of my many brethren will be glad to lead you to the Lord and Salvation.

If God's not real and more specifically, Jesus, then why do some people seem to become extremely upset & even hostile whenever the topic is brought up? Especially in places of education & workplaces. It seems to me that now-a-days, NOTHING at all is off limits to discuss, no topic is taboo, except mentioning faith in a creator. The power in the name of Jesus is self evident, in the way it makes people react, whether positively or negatively. Why doesnt it hold the same power to say "Buddha!" everytime you stub your toe on a rock, or to say "St. Peter!" instead of the name of the savior Jesus Christ when you want to express an exclaimation, or emotion!

As some of you may already know the Jedi Religion has been recognized in many places.
Now, as with all religions, the orthodox get challenged and a new denomination pops up. That’s where I come in. The Jedi Baptist are now here. I know the Jedi has only been around a year or so, but I figure why wait? And, yes, it may seem strange that after 2000 and some odd years that the “true” religion suddenly shows up, but I tell you it happens all the time. The best part is that we aren’t going to pester anyone, except for maybe the Atheist (we need light-sabers and they are handy with that science stuff).
So here is the question, should I
(A) Go for it. Build the newest and only true religion...or
(B) Lead all nine of my followers straight to the kitchen and drink the poisoned Kool-Aid???

I have heard a rumor spreading among some people that the crusaders were somehow justified in their wars in palestine. Does anyone know where this came from or what the argument is?

The reason evolution is a dangerous idea for Christians is that they are than left with the fact that man and animals are related. That animals might even have ‘souls’ since man is just another animal.

That's a dangerous idea for most Christians.

Most people who believe in evolution are even worse in this aspect; They do not follow their own reasoning to any form of actionable conclusion. For example: If man has fundamental rights, and man is an animal, than why don't animals have the same fundamental rights? Are a man’s rights dependant on being 'special' or dependant on the dignity that all life deserves? Or...?

So, my question to people who believe in evolution is; How has it actually changed the way you treat living things or is it just a way to tease Christians?

There is a passage in Ezekiel 4:9 that is a recipe for bread. "Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side."

It turns out to be an excellent source of dietary fiber, grain proteins and the essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6. Aperson could stave off malnutritien for many months eating this an water alone. Does anyone believe that this may have been mana?

Please, this is a scholarly question. I don't want a bunch of messages in all capitols, telling me about your supposed relationship with a man who's been dead for two millenia.

This country belongs to all Americans regardless of religion, superstition, or lack there of. We are based on freedom and the roman-greco concepts of rule by the people, not on Judeo-christian-islamic theocracy and divine right of kings and sultans? Only three of the 10 commandments are even constitutional in this great land of the free that I and many others have fought for and many have died for. It is true that we once had the christian institution of slavery, but we evolved socially and no longer hold to that barbaric doctrine. If you want to live in a theocracy country, Iran is always welcoming imigrants to their scripture based society. Good luck, but us Americans will continue to be a beacon of freedom, scoentific progress, and secular government despite your best efforts to take us back to the dark ages.

1. In the Bible's book of Deuteronomy it says that if a man marries a woman and then decides that he hates her, he can claim she wasn't a virgin when they married. At that point her father must prove she was a virgin. (How is not explained.) If he can't, then the woman is to be stoned to death at her father's doorstep. (22:13-21)

2. If you see a pretty woman among your captives and would like her for a wife, then bring her home and "go in unto her." Later, if you decide you don't like her, you can simply "let her go." (Deuteronomy 21:11-14)

3. If a betrothed virgin is raped in the city and doesn't cry out loud enough, then "the men of the city shall stone her to death." (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)

4. In the book of Esther the king apparently decrees a sex contest among young virgin women to see who can best please him. He subsequently finds Esther the best at this, so he makes her queen. (Note ancient painting on the left.)

However, since women are viewed as inherently dirty, Esther must be "purified" for twelve months before she can be made queen. (Esther 2:8-9, 12-17)

5. Paul points out in New Testament Romans that "the natural use" of women is to provide men with sex. (Romans 1:27)

6. Heaven is to be inhabited by 144,000 virgin men who have not been "defiled" by women. (RE 14:1-4) [One wonders how this squares with God's command to, "Be fruitful and multiply...(Genesis 1:28)?]

7. A group of sexual depraved men beat on the door of an old man's house demanding that he turn over to them a male house guest. Instead, the old man offers his virgin daughter and his guest's wife: "Behold, here are my virgin daughter and his concubine (wife); let me bring them out now. Ravish them and do with them what seems good to you; but against this man do not do so vile a thing." The women were subsequently ravished and killed. (JG 19:22-29)

8. In Exod. 21:7 we see that it is permissible to sell one's daughter (but apparently not one's son) into slavery.

9. According to St. Jerome, "Nothing is so unclean as a woman in her periods; what she touches she causes to be unclean." In Leviticus (12:2:5) it states, "If a woman conceives and bears a male child, she shall be ceremonially unclean seven days...if she bears a female child she shall be unclean two weeks...."

10. "A woman dropped a stone on his head and cracked his skull. Hurriedly he called to his armor-bearer, 'Draw your sword and kill me, so that they can't say a woman killed me.' So his servant ran him through, and he died." (Judges 9:53-54)

11. Under God's direction, Moses' army kills all the adult males, but they mercifully just take the women and children captive. When Moses learns that they left some women and children alive, he angrily says: "Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him." (31:1-54) Throughout Bible history God is said to demand that thousands, if not millions, of men, women and children be slaughtered. And they are.

12. And where do these go? - A man has an obligation to produce a child with his brother's widow. If he refuses, his sister-in-law is to spit in his face in front of the elders. (Deuteronomy 25:5-9) And in case you are Jewish, you may be familiar with the Jewish prayer: "Blessed be the God who has not created me a heathen, a slave or a woman."

Lately Ive been having such a hard time. Things have been so difficult and I just dont seem to understand. This life is crazy. I just hope for better days. Im not always this sad but sometimes I am. I think Im depressed but Im really trying to get over it. I feel like Im completely over the edge and everything seems like a blur. I just want to focus and realize my reality. Man, that sounds so crazy but Ive noticed that sometimes when I write, email. or even text message nearly 90% of the time I dont mean what i say. Honestly, this is how i feel right now. I just want to feel normal but it almost seems my life is so stable that I have no stability at all. I want happiness and im just tired of being alone. God, if you hear me.. where have you been?
