My friend are you trying to destroy this site on Q&A? I come here to think and also to enjoy for I do get a lot of laughs as I do read many of the answers given by many who say they are Christians.
Oh yes there is another view maybe Ha ha. I left America 31 years ago at the age of 35 because I felt that the so called progress was really regression and I wanted to find another place that was a little slower in this area. Do note I did not say an area of progress for in my limited world travels meaning all the US of A and the Far East I only saw regression which was called progress. I personally see the whole world digging a hole deeper and deeper that will one day result in total elimination of the known earth humankind calls their home.
Absolutely such is just my opinion and you are free to reject it. That freedom of choice is just the same as I see here on this Q&A and I do want it to continue as is for now. I do enjoy my visits here almost daily.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away
from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us,
"You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that
does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and
it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the
judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is
not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5)

Why are you so ANGRy? I am a christian and I believe in the 10 commandments. Even if you are not a christian, these are pretty common sense rules to live by, that is, if you bother to find out what they are. Try reading them and see what they mean. It is just simply treating others right and doing right. To do a job right you have to have a plan and the commandments are the plan for living your life.

The words "separation of church and state" are not found anywhere in the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or even the Declaration of Independence. That phrase comes from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association. Furthermore, the "wall of separation between church and state" that Jefferson referred to in his letter was clearly meant to protect religious freedom and to prevent government from attempting to take away our God-given unalienable rights.
So how did the phrase "separation of church and state" become a part of our vocabulary? On June 25, 1962 in Engel v. Vitale the US Supreme Court used the "separation of church and state" argument as its basis for banning prayer in public schools. Their decision marked the turning point in the interpretation of the First Amendment. In the case, the U.S. Supreme Court ignored 170 years of history, legal precedent, and the clear intent of First Amendment, by interpreting the Establishment Clause to prohibit religious activities in public settings. The 1962 ruling was the first case in Supreme Court history that did not cite any previous legal precedents in making its decision. Within a year of the court's ruling Bible reading, religious classes, and religious instruction in public schools were also declared unconstitutional.

...actually, it was Puritans, Quakers, and others you should be mad at for this, to be fair. They set up a large amount of the faith-based doctrines America was founded on. The catholics didn't come in till later after much of the Western Christ-based religions became a wee bit more fractured than they already were.
