Albert Einstein believed. Stephen Hawking believes (not at first, but now he found God). These are some of the smartest people in the world. They study lots of things about the universe that would make some people disbelieve in God. Yet, some how they still believe. If they have so many opprotunities to NOT believe in God, and they still do, why don't you?

In Acts 16:16 16 One day as we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had an evil spirit in her that made her predict the future. She earned much money for her owners by telling fortunes.
In the Bible it talks about people who predicts the future are works of the Devil. Do you think that Sylvia Brown has a evil spirit in her that predicts the future.

Strange...a God who could make good children as easily as bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who made them prize their bitter life, yet stingily cut it short; mouths Golden Rules and forgiveness multiplied seventy times seven and invented Hell; who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, then tries to shuffle the responsibility for man's acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him!

John 3:15-17 KJV "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. "

"It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgement." Hebrews

What do we do?

-with broken hearts? Why couldnt God of made unbreakable hearts?

-with our careers? When we dont really know what exactly we want to do? But need something to do.

-Ever feel like you lived this day over and over and are going nowhere?

-Why are we here? Do you wonder if you are the only one who feels these things?

-If God showed you your entire life written out for you, what would you do? Change it? Keep it?

-What is the point of life? Do you think that one single person has died and has been reborn over and over and has eventually been every single person on this planet? (basically, the same person is all around us. You)

-Is there life on other planets? And not Tom cruises planet...lol.

I need answers to life.........Please! Drivin me nuts lately.

And why does God give us someone to spend our lives with and then they leave us? Why do we have to deal with the pain? And raise a child on our own? There has to be more to life than this..much more.

I am Mormon and I am tiered of seeing bad things posted on here about Mormons. We believe in God the eternal father, and in his son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit. We don't believe that there is more than one god. We have only one god. We have a prophet who is Gordon B. Hinckley. We don't think he is god. He is an amazing man. There are no words to describe how great he is. We don't see him as the living god. He tells us things that our Heavenly Father wants us to do. Like not get tattoos or drinking and things like that. We are not polygamists. The people that are polygamists belong to the FLDS church. Not the LDS. The FLDS. A long time ago when the prophet told the Mormons to have only one wife, some of the people decided they didn't like that. So they broke away and started their own church. We do have the bible. It is the same bible that many people use today. We have other scriptures too. But we do use the bible. We are not bad people. We don't drink, or smoke, or anything

Is fasting really for everyone? I am anemic and hypoglycemic, so if I don't eat I get really dizzy and light-headed. So can you fast and still have some snacks to keep your blood sugar up?

God's word at 1Timothy 4:3 says it is wrong to forbid someone to marry and it does not give any exemptions. And I don't want to hear about any vow of celebacy. If a man asked to become a priest but said he also wanted a wife, he would not be allowed in the priesthood. So celebacy is a requirement to become a priest, also forbidden since only married people are allowed to have sexual relations.

When I met my husband, I started to go to his church, and I felt differently about the Catholic church in which I was raised. I made the choice to convert a few years after we got married. This was not a decision made just because we got married. I felt more connected to his faith. (Baptist) My now mother feels that she has failed me. When ever we get on the topic of religion, she always apologizes for failing me. She keeps asking me what she did wrong to make me convert. She feels she has sinned.. How can I convince my mother she did not do anything wrong? How should I handle this situation?
