Are theologians present at every one? Because that's what we would need there to answer our complex hundreds of questions about the inaccuracies, contradictions and problems with the bible....

I believe that God chose to inspire the Bible w/ "fairy tales" and "simplicity" inorder to test all those who truly seek and love God and..those who don't really love God are easily "turned-off" by the Bible's "style". Agree>

Men suffer by the hands of men. It is not because God wills it. Jesus was hated and so are his believers. Bin Laden for example even says "holy war". God gave us choice, free will! So don't blame the name of Jesus. Blame the people who are using their free will to harm humanity instead of helping it!

Since God knows everything (if you feel otherwise, it means that God can't do anything), he knew, and knows, all mentally challenged people on this planet. It seems like a huge sacrifice for many people. Seems like a waste.

It is like God has a mental schedule of human events that he can choose to focus on. Even ones that won't happen until a 100 years from now. He literally can wait and anticipate a disaster, like 911, or the birth of a retarded baby.

Get real. Your histories clearly show harmful consequences of religion. You did not invent freedom of religion. THe secularists did that!

No respect for the murderers of children

religions were at the most an old tool used be our homosapient ancenstor, if i had it my way all religious people would be wiped of the earth, all they do is whine and complain about morals and values!they value morals above progress! progress is what must prevail not some cheap pipe dream about a non-exist afterlife! Most of the suffering and restraint on scientific discovery were a result of your stupid religion , its about time humanity ditch this worthless and primitive mental self defense mechanism and start progressing dammit!!!!

He claimed to be God and He also claimed to the "Gate" by which people must enter to go to heaven. (The Gospel of John) Do you believe He was telling the truth, or was He lying, or was He just plain crazy? Please choose one of the 3.

Just curious, I don't mean this as an attack on Islam. I just sometimes read other people's answers here on yahoo answers and quite honestly, I am weeping.

So, here is my question, for those who claim that "its just the culture" in the Middle East and thats why they stone people, why in non-Middle Eastern countries, where people aren't Arabic, but instead Asian for example, like in Malaysia, where homosexuals and adulterors are stoned, is it just their culture also? Why do both seperate cultures and seperate ethnic groups who are Muslim do this, and when they do they have the Qur'an in the other hand that they aren't using to throw rocks?

Also, do you think the average person who would say "oh no thats just the Middle Eastern peoples culture" would ever be able to put their finger on Malaysia on a map; do you think they have ever picked up a Qur'an and read any passages from it?

John wrote Revelations as a part of the Bible but from everything I can gather he added this book once Jesus had passed and so we are not hearing the words of Christ in The Book but the words of John-and he was Saul before he was John a conqurer and a killer was he not-a highly ranked member of the army-and so he was acute in his knowledge of how to get men to be submissive and submersive-and what I read in Revelations holds many mistakes and also refers again to dragons which we NOW know were dinosaurs bones -AND SO REVELATIONS WAS SUBMITTED BY A MAN AND NOT APPROVED BY A GOD correct-but then you say God Inspired him to write those things-well God is inspiring me to tell you different-so who AM I? I am Yippy YahQQ and I am here to tell you that God would not destroy this planet and that actually it will become HEAVEN if mankind will start to believe in HER rather than going to some Heavenly place called FANTASY Land-as it is we are all living in Hell with worry-There isn't a fierypit!

The crusades, the Inquisition the horrors brought upon the the indigenous Americans? I am sure there were similar occurrences in Africa and Asia, too. Probably the only continent spared from the expansion of Christianity is Antarctica.

In many parts of the ME, they still have the same attitude about women, stone people, even dress similar, just like they did in biblical times.
Coincidence? ..or could it be the bible was just written by primitive Middle Eastern men (who by the way have not changed much over there).?
