I'd like to focus on the most beautiful scenes in that movie.

I loved the one where Mary was watching Jesus fall, and she flashed back to a time when He was just learning to walk. He cried out to her, and she ran to comfort him. That was so beautiful it made me cry.

There has been so much talk about the violence and the suffering!
I closed my eyes during some of that, not wanting to see Jesus (or anyone) suffer so much... and not wanting to see how cruel some humans can be.

But there has been too little attention on the beauty of His love.... and how he willingly gave His life for us.

If you are not Christian, but you saw the movie... please feel free to comment. But this question is not saying you should believe. You are free to think what you want, it won't hurt my feelings. Even if you don't think Jesus is the Son of God, you have to admit He was an amazing human being.

Let's talk only about the most beautiful scenes, just for now.

i mean no one still rides around on horse and buggy anymore(except those weird dudes with the beards who's bitches are always wearin bonnets). we don't have sword fights and save princesses or make spears out of sticks and rocks and run around chasing mountain lions in loin cloths. nobody still makes wheels out of rocks or enslaves races anymore. so if everything is under control why do we need religion still? we don't need to trick anyone anymore. lets just have the lizards take off their masks and tell everyone jesus was a hologram and it was all a HUGE JOKE and then we can start coming up with new ways to decieve distort and control the masses. wouldnt that be lovely?

You accuse Muslims or followers of Islam to merely being moon worshippers and you will respond telling us we are blind and we really don’t know?

Why do you keep rearing you’re ugly head in every post about Islam and then making a dash for it?

I guarantee you a £1000 squid that you're claims like the very cross you worship will be destroyed in front of your very eyes.

Questions: Is whynotaskdon just a retired bigot who has nothing better to do then come on here and incite lies and express his Christian terrorist views on other religions.

Is whynotaskdon an e-leech, sucking on the blood of the weak and not so knowing?

We invite you to Islam whynotaskdon.

Please don’t shy away, please break you’re ties with Satan and join us brother.

You’re getting on a bit mate, soon you will die and hell will await unless you change your ways my friend.

I'll be praying for you.

In this day and age, many people are accusing religion of being the root of Man's problems. However, even though this is true to some extent, just imagine a world where religion never existed. Bad things happen now, but just imagine what would happen if people did what they wanted without any care, knowing that there was no fiery pit of hell waiting for them if they did..

Religion is a good thing. It helps people acquire a sense of identity and meaning. It helps in their time of need. It's just typical of humans to spoil that with their greed and arrogance

Now I would like to pose another in the same vein. Given that most are not willing to give up a day of worship, What is more important, hearing about God (which you should already know) or carrying out his works?

HERE ARE THE RULES

1. Faith is not proof. It's just a mental block to keep you from questioning your belief

2. Not understanding how the universe came about is not proof. Assumpions can not be accepted as proof

3. Your existence is not proof. It's only proof that your mom and dad had sex if you're not a test tube baby

4. Beauty and perfection of this earth is not proof. If you think about all the natural dissasters, this earth is far from perfect.

5. A feeling you have is not proof. The belief is what caused the feeling in the first place.

6. Miracles are not proof. The very meaning of a miracle is simply something you dont understand

7. Not understanding luck is not proof. Again, assumptions can not be accepted as proof

8. Bad accidents or natural dissasters in not proof. Once again, assumptions can not be accepted as proof.

9. The bible is not proof. There are too many contradictions in the bible http://www.evilbible.com

GOD told bush to go fight those terrorists?

How could this 'GOD' tell him to go massacre innocent civilians in Afganistan and Iraq?

His Soldiers of GOD Torture, rape and main thousands.

So did GOD order him or did SATAN order him?

How would he know? like GOD would tell the very person who with the aid of his gang of misfits, lied and cheated their way into power in the first place?

:)

Doesn't make sense.

If god existed then heaven and hell shouldn't. If we are able to exist forever then it would be scary. Have you ever thought how boring things would get? An eternity... Never able to rest. Scares me a little.
We'd get sick of everything...

I believe Genesis shows wo(man) being closest to God when there was no killing, including that of animals. I'm surprised more Christians haven't picked up on this and tried to rebuild the kingdom of God right here on earth.
