God told these men what to write and they did not add their own perspectives. God is a trinity...Father, Spirit, and Son. He came to earth as a man. There is no text or evidence of God being a woman.

personally, i do not beleive in God, but if there were a God i would think that God would be more of an it. it makes sense that you would think that the MEN who wrote the bible put their own perspectives on it...

Even so, the Bible says both men and women were created in God's image. No real answer to that one.

When God revealed Himself to those who wrote the Bible, they wrote it down as He revealed Himself to them. The word for God is in a masculine form. Jesus was God incarnate, a man as well. You can assume that the Bible has made it clear that masculinity is the representation that God has revealed Himself as.

God is both male and female. I usually refer to God as She though, since She is the most prominent aspect. Don't let the bible tell you how to view God. View Her the way your heart tells you. Blessed be.

When God said LET US GO DOWN AND MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE. He did just that. So Adam had the image of God impressed upon him. When God made Eve God removed the She element from Adam So God gave her the she element image of himself.

I see God as a "he". The father, son and the holy ghost. I see a "he" as mortal men we needed an image of man to understand. God gave us that.

God is Male
The only begotten son of God the Father (Jn.1:14, Re.1:6, Col.2:9 below), Jesus (the Word - Jn.1:1, Jn.1:14 below), His beloved Son (Matt.3:17), was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matt.1:20 below).
Jn.1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, (Matt.1:20, Matt.3:17 below)) full of grace and truth.
Jn.1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (Re.1:6, Lk.1:47 below).
Matt.3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son (Matt.1:20 below), in whom I am well pleased.
Matt.1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (Jn.1:14, Matt.3:17 above).
Re.1:6And hath made us kings and priests unto God AND his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Col.2:9 For in him dwelleth ALL the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Re.1:6 above)

God is referred to as a he, so most think he's a male I guess. But what does that mean? Does he have male anatomy? If so, why?
If he's a female, what does that mean?
If he's neither, what the hell does that mean????
This is one of the many reasons I stopped believing.
