WHAT! No religion can say that blood has not been shed on their behalf, crusades, the jihad, and all those other battles in all the different canons. They excuse the killing by telling others it was in the name of their gods. You can't deny historical records. What a load of fudge nuggety crap.

I agree, murderers do deserve your scorn. You can't blame religion though, religion is just an idea like love or peace or even education. It's what twisted people choose to do with these ideas that causes problems. If there were no religion there would still be wackos killing each other over phonics or UFO's or some other nonsense. Love hurts but it's not love's fault and really, it only hurts when we try and exert our will on it instead of just letting it come and go in our life like its meant to. Religion is no different.

Hmmm... I'm a Christain, and I've never murdered anyone. I'm pretty sure that all of the Christians that I have met have never murdered anyone. Haven't met any Jews or Muslims that I would believe have committed murder either.
I suppose that statistically there might be one or two in there that have, but not everyone.
I'm pretty sure that the first recorded instance of freedom of religion was the Mayflower Compact.

Jesus Christ healed the ear of one of the men who came to arrest him before the crucifixion when Peter cut it off, and Jesus called Peter off. After the resurrection, Peter was a changed man and taught about Jesus until he too was killed.
The Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ does not murder people.
People who say they are believers in Christ and are not following him are like someone sitting in a garage and saying he is a car. If you read about Jesus in the New Testament, he was the man sent to cure us of our sin problem. Read about him, the true Son of the Living God of the Universe, and tell me that he said for anyone to murder people who don't become converts. If Jesus murdered or told his people to murder others, he would be a different Jesus than the one you can read about in the new testament. He healed people. Get a grip! People who are evil will use any excuse

First of all, Are you American? If you are then you are a murderur too. Killed many Indians to take thier land away from them. Or and they did kill Children.
No matter what your background is I can find a murderur of Children in it.
Oh, I get it. For you it's called the past and you personnally had nothing to do with it; but for others it's who they are.

You know, people without religion kill their children, too.
And since we now have these things called "laws" as you so mentioned - I haven't seen any barbaric sacrifices as of late. Although I have heard of animal sacrifices to Satan around Halloween.

What about non-murderous ones?
Not fair to group everyone in the same category.
