Ok, I've been a fan of the awesome band Showbread for a while, (RAW ROCK KILLS!) and recently when doing a google image search, I found this "Table of Showbread" and found that it has some biblical importance. I would really like to know exactly what this table was, what it's importance was, if it specifically pertains to Christians, all the stuff like that. Anything would be helpful as I know nothing about this, even if you are just linking me to something.

There are a couple of issues that I think Americans need to compromise on.

Gay marriage is one such issue. What if government makes gay marriage legal, and if a gay couple invites a Christian to the wedding, and they don't want to go because they are afraid it might make their children gay, they just send a blender?
If living next door to a gay couple that is married or unmarried, is there a difference on the children? Are children more likely to become gay if Adam and Steve next door become married? Is there any evidence of this happening in the 25 other countries on Earth that have gay marriage?

Evolution/Creationism - Could we compromise and agree that in public schools evolution will be taught, and in private school you can teach Genesis 1 & 2 in the science room? Is this a fair compromise?

I'm only asking cause I don't like fighting I want to compromise do you think these are good compromises?

I love this one " If you believe in God and He exist then you are safe and if He doesn't exist you lose nothing" lol. I do believe in God I just don't believe in these lame reasons that people use to try and convince others to their way of thinking. What is the lamest line someone has given you? Whether it be an athiest or a believer tell me what they have said that gave you a giggle or made you scratch your head it wonder of their thought process.

I am on a quest to broaden my understanding as a Christian why certain views and practices are considered right. I am a person that questions to deepen my faith and to grasp a better understanding of the Bible.

I am not Jewish, but have read several scriptures that show that Jesus even observed the Sabbath and have found that quite a few demonimations that are Christian observe Sabbath. Do you observe the Sabbath and if so what is your demonination? Also, is it sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday?

In discussions with atheists and other non-Christians, the biggest reason that we have shared with one another is the political issues that stem from Christianity and the Christian Bible. Examples of this are Creationism/Intelligent Design in the public schools, gay marriage vs gay marriage ban, etc.

So, just wondering, respectful question, why do you think Atheists and Non-Christians are here asking questions.

there is a church in Topeka Kansas where the "so called"pastor does demontrations and gay bashing pickets. I drove by one of these pickets the other day and i saw a child no older than 6 yrs old holding a sign with a picture of 2 men with one behind the other bent over...under the picture was the statement "God hates America" how is it this man can teach a child to hate before he learns to love is beyond me. If you worship Jesus and you're wrong you will be forced to relive life over and will have gained nothing.

If you follow the teachings of Hinduism and Buddhism and you are right you will attain nirvana.

Israel is striking what they think are militant targets, the problem is, the Lebanese, as well as Iraqi militants hide among the civilian population, because they know they are safer than not being there, because of the "public outcry" of loss of civilian life.

Another thing, compared to wars in the past, the loss of life in Iraq, and now Lebanon are nothing in comparison. I dont get people, and where they get their expectations from.

Its war..do they think noone will die?!

I mean you've all been yipping about it for ages now and you're all still here. I'm getting sick of seeing those inane bumper stickers that read "in case of rapture this vehicle will be empty" looks like god thinks it's ok to allow a moving vehicle to crash into whatever or whomever gets in the way, very kind of him.
So please, could you hurry the process along somehow? I'd certainly be willing to donate to the cause.
Anything that get's you brain-dead zealots out of our hair. That way we can get on with cleaning up your mess and living an idyllic life without having to worry about some well-dressed zombies coming to our door at 9am on a saturday morning to preach about thier "love" for a magic sky-pixie!

The Revised Standard Edition I have at home says the 7 churches represent time eras; the first church was the first century, the second church was the time after fall of the temple till the fall of rome, etc.

Also, is my 3 year old son too young to hear the book of Revelation. I was reading to him last night Chapter 1 and while he didn't complain, I don't think he got the message. What do you think, should I read to him tonight from the rest of Revelation, so he may know Jesus, and be scared of hell? Or should I take him to the zoo and show him cousin chimpanzee and cousin orangotang

Late night TV commercials: Red Hot, Quest and Tango personals fill up the airways when the Swing shift is getting off duty and there is little on Television to watch except reruns of Becker and Senfeld.
