They cannot insult the devil because they belong to him, so they insult the opposition. Problem is that the devil does not love them---he hates everything and everybody. So, their loyalty to him is futile---it will end in their eternal death in the lake of fire. Jesus loves them anyway and wants them to come to him and receive his saving grace. You are right---the louder they holler the more they are afraid that Jesus is the way.

Personally, I believe in God, and I was raised in the church. I am not a Christian, however. I like coming here, because I know so much more about Christianity then most of you so called Christians. I like coming here and pointing out the ignorance of many!

Well I'll explain this as simply as I can so as to not confuse you.
There are people, like us, who know that god is imaginary. So, we come here to point out that fact to people like you.
Sometimes, just sometimes, one of you manages to pull your head out of your rectal cavity and see the world the way it really is . At that point they have questions. Thankfully they have a way to contact us. And given the numerous emails I've recieved from people looking to leave the christian cult (among others) it's working very well.
Your views and beliefs have no bearing on the matter. Trust me, I've been there and i will NEVER go back to the brain-dead set.
Do you understand now?

I dont believe in God, and come on because I respect other peoples points of view. And no matter what anyone says...I wont change my opinion, I have a belief just like you, just mine doesnt include a god type thing!! So if I can respect your opinion, why cant you respect the rights of athiests or people who dont believe the same thing as you???

While many nontheists don't like using the term, others openly embrace the word "spirituality" to describe certain strong feelings of awe we sometimes experience, or the feeling that one is somehow connected to a much greater whole--humanity, the universe, etc.

I think you have that backwards. We are here to have an effect on you. Don't worry. Give it a week. Try actually reading some of the questions and answers instead of glazing over the parts you don't like.

Well we do it out of love and atheist charity. Just think what would happen if we didn't - you'd start thinking you were right about things. Imagine how sad that would be. It's OK, you don't need to thank us - like I said, it's an act of love on our behalf to spread the word of Logic among the unenlightened.

You're welcome.

Some come here for sincere questions to satisfy curiosity - others come here just because they think its funny to ask insulting questions of Christians and other beliefs.

Its that simple. Just two groups; Sincere intelligent questions & so called Questions designed to irritate and make fun.

Are you saying that if we don't believe in the Christian God, we don't belong here? This is called the Religion and Spirituality section. If it were called the Christian section I can understand your confusion, but it's not. It's for EVERY Religion and Spiritual path.

Just like socialites.

They attempt to rub shoulders with finer people in the hopes it rubs off and the learn.

Cynical, but that's the easiest explanation.
