Exodus 21:17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

How about these?

Deuteronomy 28:63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Song of Solomon 4:5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.

Song of Solomon 8:8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?

Isaiah 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities

I could go on.

Because for everything there is a season, and if you are not let By the Holly Spirit to do something that people would not regullarlly do, then you do not supodse to do it! But desipline with sons or daugthers start at home when they are litle by parents, if you raise up your child with dicipline and The Fear of the Lord, then he will never depart from good ways. You reap what you sow!

yes,,, you should!! -- but please don't just write the book and numbers. spell out the quote too.

there are too many christians who know only a small part of the bible. at church, they are only taught a small part. SOMEONE needs to say these other parts too. i like the t-shirt idea too.

now,,, we should definitely avoid taking quotes out of context, but there are so many blatantly awful things in the bible, that there's really no reason even to take things out of context.

most of these bad quotes are from the OT, but there are some from the NT (to my understanding). it really doesn't matter though. even the christians who believe that the NT excuses the OT still have to admit that god was at one time extremely vengeful and unfair.

in conclusion, yeah,,, bring the sign. but uhm,,, just be careful not to take any quote out of context.

Num. 31:17-18 "Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."

I should make a t-shirt with that verse on it.
