so why post a weblink to a bible thumping web site? why quote scripture when we'll merely skip your statement on any questions we ask? why spew dogmatic statements at us when we'll simply ignore them? These are retorical statements so why answer them?

yeah i'm with you on that. people ask spiritual questions on here that obviously reflect another path and there's always someone trying to steer them to Christianity, even though it'll have nothing to do with the question. There's a lot of non-Christians who love Christ for the teachings and can see past the dogma that has ruined his message.

Chrisitans are taught to help 'save' non-believers. It's part of being a good Christian. I mean, if you think about it, these are people who believe a certain way and want to see that you spend eternity in heaven. It's not like the more they convert, the better heaven will be for them, so you know they have your best interests at heart.

Unfortunately, some poeple lack tact and would rather shout at non-Christians that "you're all gonna go to hell". This kind of behavior is not reflective of being a good Christian.

Instead of Christianity, imagine that we're talking about a particular candy bar or restaurant. And let's say YOU really LOVE this thing or place and it makes YOU feel really good. Well, it is normal and natural to want to share this with people you like. Now let's say that person says "No thank you." You have a few options. You can shove said candy bar down thier throat or you can gently remind them once in a while about it, or you can just drop the whole thing and respect that person's wishes.

Personally I am a Christian but I would let someone come to me asking about what it is all about. There are some very good things about it. That's what I like about this forum when people ask serious questions.

I have learned a lot about Islam and Buddhism and many other religions. i respect them and learn from them. I think we should all have an open mind.

Awesome question!

To get 2 points?
Because they aren't for you?
Because there are some people that really need to hear what we have to say... Obviously not you?

So let me ask
Why post your Bible Bashing website?
Why quote made up so called "facts" that you people think can prove us wrong, when they can't and we'll merely prove you wrong on those too?
Why spew rude, anti-religious remarks at us when we'll simply pray for you?
These are retorical "statements"... You can answer them if you'd like... but I doubt we'll read what you have to say...

So... In response to your question...
Here is your post to a Bible Thumping website
www.leestrobel.com
Here is your scripture that you are going to merely ignore
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
I don't have any dogmatic statements to "spew" at you...
So.. I think that's about it..
Oh yeah.

God loves you..
and God bless.

Perhaps we revert to the blindmen and the elephant story over and over. The English speaking folks here seem to believe. blind though they are, that everyone in the world (except those rude tools of Satan) believe that Jesus was the not only the Son of God but actually God Himself. And that despite all the contradictions and rewrites, the KJV is word-for-word written by God.

So Neo-woodland pagans, Catholics, JWs, LDS, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Jains, Zorastarans, Taoists, Cao Di folk are all just under one umbrella: deluded fools of Satan. Convenient thinking. It makes us Freemasons Satanic also because we let the above-named folks into Lodge with us, too.

Don't believe me, go to Jack T. Chick's website and look around. Anybody not of that "Old Time Religion" has a ticket for the Lake of Fire (somewhere off stage left of the Faceless White God on the big White Throne.) Here is what Neocon Christianity is at its core. Tell me I am wrong.

So it does not matter how "good" you are or how bad you have been just as long as you accept their message, you get into their heaven. And they all love those of us who do not believe that way that they are about to go into fits of apoplexy trying to convince us. They truly cannot understand why we will not believe. *sigh*

So, maybe we need a board just for them and then have a board that is truly about spirituality that does not allow such "witnessing."

Peace

This is ye olde circular logic, which is the only logic Christians have. There is no rational basis on which to base their beliefs. The only thing that supports their beliefs is... the Bible. So they quote the bible. This is blatantly obvious to non-Christians, but painfully obscured to the Christians themselves...

Why do you accept sources of people who do not quote from the Bible but reject the Bible quoted as a source? Isn't that prejudice? How do you know that absolutely no biblical quote could accurately reflect a person's answer?

Because, as Christians, it is our duty to spread the word. And if one person out there reads it and realizes that God really is the ONLY answer, then all was not in vain.

I'll answer them so you'll appreciate my approach. With non-Christians, I appeal to reason and human experience. There's no point in talking if you're not on common ground.
