What else is part of the old covenant besides the disgusting, sexist, barbaric and offensive parts?
or could it really just be that primitive men wrote the bible and the proof is just obvious if you read it? ...slavery, numerous accounts of baby slaughter/ slaughter of civilians, stoning people to death for minor societal infractions, animal sacrifice, etc.
How do you know, since it is God's written word, when to disregard it and when to try to rewrite science books with it?

Why cant they accept that any religion is unproven and might be a load of balls? Im personaly sick of hearing people talk about religions as if they are fact, people say 'Jesus is coming' as if they know, it's not like he phoned them up before hand to tell them to put the kettle on is it? People say 'There is a god' or 'Allah is good' as if they know their god personaly or something, nothing is proven to suggest that there is a god and nothing is proven to suggest that there isn't a god. Nobody realy knows and my guess is nobody will ever know.

that when an atheist is on his or her deathbed that he or she repents her sins for a chance to get into heaven. I am wondering how many of you have actually and truly been by the deathbed of an atheist as they have died. Enough to make that claim??

to say to a boyfriend of 3 years, that was a christian, but no strayed. He curses, and has anger problems, and hanging around wrong influences. Hes always had a jealousy problem, if a guy just looked at me, hed snap. He calls me S*L*u*t when ive never had sex, and calls me a cheater, when im so faithful. Then i hear hes doing stuff behind my back. He always calls me the worst cheater for stupid things, like if i talk to a guy for a sec to ask a question he snaps, and calls me a cheater. What is his reason for this? Thoughts, and reasons you can think of?

What is something I could say back that is Christian like to him. I always have nothing to say, and I need something to tell him i'm not cheating, hes blaming me for his doings, and blah blah blah.

Pray for him.

life is good since i prayed and let Jesus into my heart when i believed Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs 12 "He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man-and lay down his life as our sacrificial atonement lamb."

Events like these as well as beheadings, severing of limbs, and drilling into the head and eyes are all methods of torture and humillation used by sectarians.

There are large enough elements over in Iraq that in all essence are commiting genocide in the most horrific manner not seen since Nazi Germany.

What amazes me is this is all done in the name of religion. It is extreme evil at its worst. It is our moral responsibility to address these issues especially since I do not believe this is an isolate case and will continue to erupt throughout the world. There is a dysfunction that is being taught in certain religious circles and this is simply a manifestation of that dysfunctional teaching.

Is because Jesus is worth his weight in gold?

Is it just because you place more value on gold than other materials?

Isn't placing value on some things devaluing others?

Did God create some things with less value than other things?

Why is it that you people go around judging people left and right for anything that doesn't go with your ideals and opinions, yet you FAIL miserably to see that you by judging others are putting yourself in the same category as the "sinners" you are accusing? Not to mention the fact that so many self-proclaimed "Xtians" have committed, among other things, pedophilia, profiteering, money laundering, lying, etc. etc. All these are documented, look online.

Deut 21:18-21

What did God, the creator of the millions of galaxies and trillions of stars, the all knowing all powerful being mean by this?
Please refrain from making things up out of thin air and making excuses for God of the old testament if this IS God's word. THis to me is pretty straitforward.

I read a few of these comments from an athiest point of veiws, and most of them say that Christians force their beliefs onto them. Well let me be the first one to say I'm sorry if any one feels force in what I believe in.
Every one has a right to believe in what they want to believe, but I believe in Christ some people see it as a fairy tail, but I believe that it is not that far fetch, but if you do then hey then no person has the right to judge you either.
